Property:  Item Text Font

Specifies the font of the item's text.

The selection box displays five generic font families (Serif, Sans-Serif, Cursive, Fantasy, Monospace) along with all fonts installed on your system.

For cross-platform compatibility, it is advisable to use the generic font families instead of any system-specific font. For example, if you use "Arial" and a specific platform does not have the Arial font, then the menu will use the browser's default font. But if you use "Sans Serif" instead of "Arial", the browser will use the appropriate Sans Serif font (in most cases it will be "Arial", but in platforms that do not have Arial it will be a similar font; not the default font)
