Hello,

I am converting my site from PHP to cold fusion. At the moment I have suckerfish running well (except with mobiles/iphones), but I want to upgrade to something that is both compatible with mobiles and is easier to maintain/change.

I don't want to use the Cold Fusion API, when the code generates for your app, do I just cut and paste it into the relevant part of my page?

Do you have any themes that would be easy to convert to give a similar look to the current suckerfish version? Or could you guys preconfigure something for me?

Kind regards

Fergus

Dear Fergus,

AllWebMenus can work with any platform and supports all the latest browsers and mobile devices.

The main procedure you have to follow in order to add a menu to your page is the following:

1) Create your menu into the AllWebMenus application using our graphic interface

2) "Compile" your menu by hitting the "Compile" button

3) "Link" the menu to your pages. There are different ways to do this depending on your setup. You can automatically add it to your pages by selecting them from a list, or you can copy-paste the Linking Code manually if you wish to do so.

If you have a template, then the best choice would be to add the Linking Code into the template so that all other pages take it from there.

Regarding the style of your existing menu, this is pretty straight-forward as it is plain-text with only two solid colors. The two color codes you currently use are "#6AB132" (green) and "#FF6600" (orange).

Let me know if you need more help with something. Note that we also have a service for recreating your menu, so let me know if you want a quote for this.

Hi thanks for your reply.  i' ve been practicing on the menu and I have the colours looking right,

the only thing I need to figure out is how to get the child menu items to be the same width as the parent.  I'm probably overlooking a simple setting...

thanks
Fergus

Hello Fergus,

Sure, here it is. You can set the Width to be as long is the Main Menu item that opens the submenu:

set menu and submenu width
