Hello Ian,

In order to have your submenu appear in another frame, you need to set that frame in Project Properties.

allwebmenus cross-frame support

Click on Project Properties -> Cross Frame Support > Check the  "Enable Cross-Frame Support" and then type your frame name (where you want the submenu to appear).
