On the above webpage {URL REMOVED} the menu when hovering over 2011, 2012, 2013 displays a grey color in the background. However when I preview the menu on my desktop it displays correctly with a white background. I have tried several different browsers and they all respond the same way.

Thank You,
Harvey

Hello Harvey,

As I see you have used the Bootstrap menu theme. You forgot to upload the images needed for your menu, that's why you don't see it as expected online.

Please, upload the menu images folder (financials) .

{URL REMOVED}/awmdata/financials

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

I uploaded the financials folder (contents on the right).  Still doesn’t display correctly unless I am missing the correct file to up load.

Hello Harvey,

According to your js file you should have the awmdata folder that contains the library files

menu files path

You do have the awmdata folder, but with old library files.

You need to upload the new awmdata folder (after you compiled your menu with the latest version of AllWebMenus).

When you compile the menu you will notice that the financials.js is created and the awmdata folder (which contains the financials subfolder with the images needed). Upload those 2 in your server and this should solve the issue.

Sometimes I have a menu with a colored graphic for the background and white text.  In the software, I cannot preview the menu because it's white on white.  Wish the software would either honor the background image or else all me to change the color of the preview.  Thanks!

Anna Sue

Hello Anna-Sue,

This already exists in AllWebMenus.

In the Preview Pane click on Options and then "Background Color in Menu Preview". Choose the color you wish and click OK, then you will see the preview pane with that background color.

Dear support,

When I open the webpage {URL REMOVED} it initially shows black screens between the items. When everything is loaded it runs smoothly. How can I avoid the black screens?

kind regards,
Fred

Hello Fred,

I have a guess that you have black background on your scroller container CSS properties.

Please, go to the Style Editor tab, in Container Area CSS and choose None (Transparent) to background color or another color (for example white) if that best fits your design.

jquery scroller slider CSS properties

After you have done this you need to recompile your project and re-upload the produced files.

Thank you!

Initial Email Subject: New inquiry regarding menu generation software
Support Case Month: January 2013

So...I'm trying out the software and I can't seem to find one very simple operation.
I have created a sample menu and applied the theme of "animated corn" which has a yellow color as its main button color.
How do I change this to another color?  I think I have looked through all of this and can't seem to find the main button color item.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Tim,

As you can see this "color" is animated which means that… it is not a color!... It is actually an animated image that TILES in the background:

Menu background tile image

This means that you can only change this by editing this image in an image editor that can handle animated images and change colors there. This may be difficult if you are not experienced in image editing because of the animation. But you can simply skip the animation and create a static image OR just remove this image from there and use the "Background Color" instead.
