How do I do this?

Thanks,

Hello Nagehan,

In general, when you want a menu item to go to a link on mouse click you can define that link by selecting the item you want and insert the path in the Link property.

link property of a menu item

If you want the submenu item to be open when the new page opens, go to Global Properties -> Show Item or Group on Appear and make the settings that best fit your needs.

This way, the menu item will be highlighted according to your settings.

show menu item or menu group on appear

Please, let me know if I can be of further help.

Kind Regards,

is there a way to make it slide of and on the page after it's made responsive?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Ellen,

You could create a main menu item (an arrow for example) that on click will show the menu (the main menu items will move one level down so will become submenu items). In this way and with the proper styling you will achieve what you want.

Check the version 4 of this example menu http://www.likno.com/examples/responsive-menu-above-green-line-resize-page.html. It's kind of similar. you will notice the menu structure on version 1 for example and then see the menu structure on version 4 to understand what i am saying.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Initial Email Subject: clicking on a scroller to display a modal window
Support Case Month: July 2013

I have both the modal windows builder and the scroller builder.  I have tried several things without success.  I am using example 5v (ticker).  I want to be able to click one of the boxes and display the contents of an HTML file within the modal window (created by modal builder).

I am probably just not using the right method.

Please help;

Hello,

In order to click on a scroller item and open a modal window created in Likno Web Modal Windows Builder you need to do the following:

In Likno Web Scroller Builder,

Click on the each project item and then select the "Item Modal".

Select "Use 'Likno Web Modal Windows Builder' window (rich)".

In the "Page Link" place the link of the html page you want to be shown in the modal window.

Item Modal property in likno web scroller builder

Then go to Likno Web Modal Windows Builder,

Mark the below shown option and Copy that value.

modal window trigger code

Go back to Likno Web Scroller Builder and paste that value in the field shown below.

Compile both your projects and link them to your page.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Knowledge Base support case for Likno Web Tabs Builder,  abstracted and stripped of all user’s private info.

Hi,

I have looked everywhere that i can think off, but cannot find the style to correct this problem.

When I initially go to this page, the tabs menu looks correct. As I click across the menu (Description > Features > Contact Us), the menu works as planned.

However, if I next click on Description, the body copy moves up to the edge of the top margin of the body graphic and will not return, unless the page is reset.

I also can correct the problem by finding the code using Firebug and changing the "positioning" style from "Relative" to "Absolute" (see below).

<li class="liknotabs_body" style="width: 700px; position: relative; top: 0px; left: 0px; display: block; overflow: visible; height: 295px; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; border-top-width: 0px; border-bottom-width: 0px;">

However, I cannot find the place in the Tabs menu application to make this change.

Please advise.

Thanks,
John

Dear John,

It seems that this issue is caused by the way that browsers understand margin. Specifically, the problem is that margins need some kind of “wall” to push against, otherwise they are ignored.

If for example you add a 1px padding-top to your <div class="synecomm"> and remove the margin-top, you will get the result you wanted, because the 15px margin of the inner elements will work against this padding.

If you need more help, please export and send me the tabs project and I will do this for you.

Can you tell me why my menu at {URL REMOVED} re-loads from the left side each time a menu item is click?

Dear David,

This is most likely because you have selected it in the Style Editor:
