I have tried numerous ways to get the pale blue of the menu to display as white.  It is white in the preview pane in the software.
The blue though similar to the background is not the same hex code.  I would appreciate a quick response as I have wasted 2 hours on this and must show it to someone in a few hours.
Thanks,
Linda

Dear Linda,

This is caused by the following code in your page, which forces all <td> elements (including those of the menu) to have this background color:

Hello Kostas,

Just 2 quick more questions.

  1. Shall the modal window resize automatically based on the big image size?
  2. can I also include dynamically some texts related to be image? For example title and description…
  3. Is it possible to manage dynamically the overlay color of the modal?

Many thanks,
Paolo

Dear Paolo,

I am afraid that in order to do any of these, you will need to use the Modal Windows JavaScript API.

You can have a look at it here:

If you want more help let me know and I will send you an example.

So...I'm trying out the software and I can't seem to find one very simple operation.
I have created a sample menu and applied the theme of "animated corn" which has a yellow color as its main button color.
How do I change this to another color?  I think I have looked through all of this and can't seem to find the main button color item.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated.

Hello Tim,

As you can see this "color" is animated which means that… it is not a color!... It is actually an animated image that TILES in the background:

Menu background tile image

This means that you can only change this by editing this image in an image editor that can handle animated images and change colors there. This may be difficult if you are not experienced in image editing because of the animation. But you can simply skip the animation and create a static image OR just remove this image from there and use the "Background Color" instead.

Dear Kostas,

I hope you are doing fine.

Is it possible to manage the tooltip colors (background, text etc) dynamically or external from the default css file? Is that also possible for the modal window builder?

Many thanks,
Paolo

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Paolo,

I am afraid that this is not currently possible, as the styles are applied by the Modal library directly onto the Modal Window elements and would overwrite any external CSS.

The same thing applies to the tooltips, although it may be easier to override it there as the style is static (in the sense that it does not change when you mouse-over etc.).

If you open the compiled js file of the tooltips, you will see that there are two places where the styles are defined as actual CSS classes that are appended to the document head. I guess that if you know your coding, you can overwrite (or override) these with your own values.

Still, I am afraid that we cannot provide any support and guidance on this, and it will be your sole responsibility to ensure that things work correctly and cross-browser.

Support Case Month: December 2012

Greetings, I have an existing menu that is currently being used inside my online software application (not my URL). We have made some changes to my application's webforms and I would like to just change the color of the menu I am using. Currently it is red, i'd like the exact same menu in black without have to create a whole new one from scratch. Can you assist me? I can send you the AWM file if you wish or send you a screen shot.

Thank you,
Bob

Dear Bob,

If your menu is text-based, then it should be really easy to change it by selecting the appropriate colors in the style editor.

If on the other hand it is image-based, then you need to change the actual images in a graphic editor.
