If you click on the calendar button, the submenu items are not visible.  I believe they are behind the page.

Thanks for any help.

Dave

Dear Dave,

This is because you are using a cross-frame menu, and the submenus are not linked to this specific page.

Please copy the following code to the calendar page, right after the <body> tag:

<!-- DO NOT MOVE! The following AllWebMenus linking code section must always
be placed right AFTER the BODY tag-->
<!-- ******** BEGIN ALLWEBMENUS CODE FOR menu_sub ******** -->
<script type="text/javascript">
var MenuLinkedBy="AllWebMenus [4]",awmMenuName="menu_sub",awmBN="664";a
wmAltUrl="";
</script>
<script charset="UTF-8" src="/menu_sub.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">awmBuildMenu();</script>
<!-- ******** END ALLWEBMENUS CODE FOR menu_sub ******** -->

Best Regards,

Kostas

Hi, I bought your Allwebmenus pro and am satisfied with it. However, I made cross frame menu and found that it worked at any browsers except Chrome. Would you please tell me how to fix it?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Can you please send us the URL so that we can check your menu? Normally there shouldn't be any problems with Chrome.

Hello Kostas,

Thank you for your reply.
I checked the browser again and am confused a little bit:
the cross-frame menu only failed to perform on the chrome "in my computer" (os: win7):
chrome in my computer ->failed
chrome in other computer ->ok
chromium (linux) ->ok
IE in any computer ->ok
Firefox in any computer ->ok
Safari in any computer ->ok
Opera ->ok

maybe i will check again and let you know if it keeps happening. thanks!

Hello,
Can you please check if you have any addins that may be affecting your Chrome?
The best way to test for this is to disable them one by one until you find which one causes the problems.
If this is the case, please let us know so that we can contact the addin developer and find a solution.

Hello again,

Did you not turn them off one-by-one as I instructed you?
Well, if you see the problem again, please let me know.
Also, can you please send me a list of the add-ons you have?

hello,
i found the problem happens only when i tried to view the page from local driver. Thus, the problem might be derived from win7.
thanks

Hello again,

I am glad to hear that you resolved the issues you had.

Regarding Chrome and local files, keep in mind that this may be due to the increased security features of Chrome, which may block different local files from interacting with each-other through frames.

The same would be true for online files if they come from different domains (note here that “likno.com” and “www.likno.com” may be considered a different domain in Chrome!).

However in local files the security is increased so they may be blocked from interacting with each other, even if they are in the same folder.

Best Regards,
Kostas

Hey everybody,

We have released a new version of AllWebMenus Pro: Version 5.3 build #860.

Check out What's New:

- Full support for all Eastern languages.

- Fixed some minor issues which were caused by "bad" global CSS.

- Drupal 7 now fully supported.

- The "Drupal Menu Add-in" now creates a ZIP file when compiling, which you then upload directly to the server (a simpler and easier process than before).

- Several GUI enhancements.

- Fixed an issue where the horizontal menu appeared wider when one of its items had at least one "Has Submenu Image" (IE8+ only).

- Fixed an issue where menu items appeared smaller in Opera, in certain occasions.

- Fixed an issue where sliding groups didn't slide correctly, in certain occasions (IE9 only).

- Fixed an issue with "Cross-frame" implementations, where the submenus incorrectly positioned at Top Left of the frame page.

- Fixed an issue with "Manually Triggered Groups" implementations, where they didn't open if these groups were of the "Sliding" type (Mozilla based browsers only).

- Fixed an issue where the menu could produce javascript errors when certain (non-Likno) modal slideshows would appear on page and then closed (IE only).
