I want to use a custom font on my menu.  So I have the following in my header:

<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

And then I created the custom font set for my menu:

'Raleway', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif

And my menu completely disappears!  Please advise.

Hello,

I just checked your site and I see that the menu is there, but without the Raleway font. I assume that you removed it in the meantime in order to make your menu show again.

Did you try adding the new font without any quotes? If not, please try this now and let me know if it worked.

Kostas

Hello Likno Support -

I have a customer who wants to use a Google Web Font in a horizontal menu that I made using AllWebMenus Pro v5.3.  Can this be done?  If so, how?

This topic seems not to be in your Knowledge Base.

Many thanks,

Dear Skip,

Yes, you can use WebFonts with AllWebMenus, but you have to make sure that the fonts load before your menu does, in order to make sure that the menu size is correctly calculated.

To be on the safe side you should use a standard substitute font with the same size as the WebFont you will be using.

To do this you can create a custom font group in the Style Editor:

add custom font for menu
