Hi, I am in the process of learning SharePoint and SharePoint Designer, does AllWebMenus support SharePoint and SharePoint Designer, if so where do I find the support documentation.

Thank you.
Debra

Dear Debra,

Yes, all of our products can work with SharePoint. I am afraid that we do not have a specific plugin to help you with the integration, however you can manually add the menu Linking Code to your page(s) and it will work fine. You can get the Linking Code if you compile your project, then click the “Link compiled project to webpages”, then select the second tab on the Linking form that will appear. Ideally you should only add the Linking Code to your template file and then all the pages will take it from there.

Please let me know if you need more specific help with something.

Best Regards,
Kostas

Hello, I have two questions:

I would like to have a button "outside" of the tabs that when clicked, will open the 3rd tab.  Where do we find this documentation?

Thank you!

Regards,
Miguel

Dear Miguel,

Regarding the Tabs, you can do this with JavaScript, by using the Tab compiled name like so:

likno_tabs_project.gotoSheet(2);

Note that you need to replace “likno_tabs_project” with your actual compiled name (with “_” instead of “-“).

Also note that the numbering in the API starts from zero, hence the third tab is (2).

I am afraid that the above (and the Tabs JavaScript API in general) are not yet documented.

Kostas

Hello,

Will this menu building software work with Microsoft Publisher (2007 or 2012)?  If I can get this to work to create some simple sub-menu’s in a very basic website, I will trial and then purchase your product.

Thanks,

-David

This is great, thank you very much.  I did not see any documentation on how specifically to integrate the menu into MS Publisher.  Do you by chance have anything you can send me?

Thanks again,

-David

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear David,

We do not have specific integration instructions for Publisher, as it is not really meant to be a web-design application (Microsoft has “Expression Web” for this).

I guess you can follow the generic guidelines here:

http://www.likno.com/wat_generic.html

Please try this and let me know if you run into any problems.

Knowledge Base support case for Likno ELearning LMS, abstracted and stripped of all user’s private info.

Initial Email From:
Ron

Support Case Month: July 2012

Good Morning,

I am recently employed with {COMPANY NAME REMOVED} and have been tasked with reviewing and selecting an LMS hosting solution to house custom developed training content and user documentation for both our clients and internal staff.

We have several basic requirements at present:

1. We are interested in a hosted solution.

2. We would need to brand the site as {COMPANY NAME REMOVED} powered by likno or something to that effect.

3. We develop training content and user /technical documentation in the form word documents, PDF’s, and Adobe Captivate developed elearning content.

4. We incorporate training assessments within our courseware. It would be great if these assessments can be tracked on a user basis.

5. We would need to set up client groups OR be able to direct  client users to a specific  catalog of courseware/documentation relevant to their specific needs.

6. I would like to have an opportunity to test a generic installation with a few of our staff to review features and capabilities for at least a couple of weeks before making any decisions.  Are you amenable to this type of arrangement?

As an introductory step, please respond to this email with a contact name, phone number, and email address.

Best Regards,

Ron

Hello Ron,

First, thank you for your interest in our Likno products.

Here is our answers to your requirements:

1. We are interested in a hosted solution.

We do proved a hosted solution, see here for pricing:

http://www.elearninglms.com/hosting.php

2. We would need to brand the site as {COMPANY NAME REMOVED} powered by likno or something to that effect.

This can be possible, it may require a small fee to do so but still possible.

3. We develop training content and user /technical documentation in the form word documents, PDF’s, and Adobe Captivate developed elearning content.

This content can be shown inside the LMS.

4. We incorporate training assessments within our courseware. It would be great if these assessments can be tracked on a user basis.

Yes, this is possible in the "Enterprise" Edition.

5. We would need to set up client groups OR be able to direct  client users to a specific  catalog of courseware/documentation relevant to their specific needs.

Yes, this is also supported by the "Enterprise" Edition.

6. I would like to have an opportunity to test a generic installation with a few of our staff to review features and capabilities for at least a couple of weeks before making any decisions.  Are you amenable to this type of arrangement?

Yes, we can arrange for this by providing you a hosted Enterprise account as a TEST for 2 weeks.

Thank you.

Hello, we have released a new version of Likno Web jQuery Modal Windows Builder: Build #252

Check out What's New

- Added the API functions to the application's "Help" file (documentation).

- Improved the support for the "navigationBarSheetSpacer" CSS class of the Navigation Bar.

- Increased the minimum modal window margin to 15px when the modal window is larger than the screen size.

- The modal window no longer hides the parent window scrollbar by default. Instead there is a new Project Property to choose your desired behavior: the "Hide scrollbar" property in the "Project Properties -> Under the Hood" section.

- Fixed an issue that occurred when a "#" existed in one of the folder names in the Root Folder path.

- Fixed an issue related to hiding the scrollbar in frame-only pages.

- Fixed a "jump" when hiding the scrollbar and the modal window had a closing effect.

- Minor interface improvements (e.g.: when pressing "Enter" on the Preview's Navigation Bar "Offset" fields then the detached Preview is automatically refreshed).

All features here: http://www.likno.com/jquery-modal-windows/index.php

You can download the latest version at:
