Hi,

We are considering purchasing one of your packages, but I had a few concerns about adding the menu to our site.  We currently use Miva Merchant for our E-commerce solution and I was wondering if you have ever integrated one of your menus on the Miva Merchant platform.  I noticed other CMS platforms like Drupal and WordPress to your site, but I just wanted to know if your menus would work with Miva Merchant.  And do you offer any sort of support help if we need help with implementation.

Thanks!
Randy

Dear Randy,

You should not have any problems with your E-Commerce platform. We do not have a specific plugin, but you can use the standard method of adding the Linking Code into your template (usually in the header file). In any case, we are here to help you with specific help if the need arises.

Knowledge Base support case for Likno Web Accordion Builder, abstracted and stripped of all user’s private info.

Initial Email Subject: Accordion builder DRUPAL Addin
Support Case Month: July 2012

Hello,

I try to integrate an accordion in my Drupal 7 basic page node "Test" by using the Drupal Accordion Module Add-in with shortcode positioning.

Everything works fine if I use the accordion-builder option "Populate the accordion panes inside this project".

As soon as I choose the desired option "Populate the accordion panes inside your page, through a UL/LI structure" no accordions appear?
(The positioning is "embedded in page  replace the UL/LI structure that populates your accordion panes",  a <ul><li> structure exists on the node,  the shortcode is correctly edited on this node)

My accordion project is based upon "Example 01.lwac" (no changes).

So where is my mistake?

Thank you for help

Regards
Josef

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Josef,

I am afraid that the UL/LI population method is not currently supported by the Drupal plugin.

It is in the TODO list, but since you are the first to ever ask for this it was considered as a low-priority task until now.

I will forward this to our developer team so that it becomes a task of higher priority.

Dear Kostas,

thank you for your open answer - it's no good news. Because of this feature I even purchased an unlimited license today. I need this, because the website where we intend to use this function will have several content editors at different places - so I would be very glad if this documented feature will come very soon.

Josef

Dear Josef,

I have just uploaded a new Accordion release (and Drupal module) that supports ULLI and DIVs structure in Drupal.

Please download the Accordion Builder here:

http://www.likno.com/jquery-accordion/download.php

and the Drupal 7 module here:

http://www.likno.com/jquery-accordion/drupal-accordion.html

Let me know if you find any problems.

Important: due to a Drupal limitation, you should change your positioning to “Element” and use the ID you are given by the Drupal module. If you choose “replace ULLI/DIV structure” then the accordion will appear at the bottom of the page.

Example:

Support Case Month: July 2012

I'm creating a new Drupal website with a horizontal menu and 1 line horizontal submenu (look at "Kunden" or "Konatkt").

My problem:
The submenu disappears when I click an item of the submenu! The submenu should only disappear when I click a new main item (I set STICKY SUBMENU and I unchecked "clicks somewhere on page" and "hovers over another item in the same group").

Thank you for your support

Many Regards

Josef

Dear Josef,

This happens because each time you click on a menu item you load a new page (and the menu is rebuilt from scratch).

What you want to do, is to use the automatic highlight of the current page which will also open the submenu in which the page link resides:

Dear Kostas,

thank you very much - this option was already checked. Now I tried the website under SAFARI, CHROME and IE and everything works as designed. Under FIREFOX the submenu disappears (the browser cache was cleared). Is this a browser problem?!

Again thank you very much for your answer

Josef

Dear Josef,

I just checked your page with Firefox and I see that the menu works fine.

Do you still not see the submenu in your Firefox? Would you please try deleting the cache files again and then press Ctrl+F5 to fully refresh the page?

Initial Email From:

Initial Email Subject: Drupal 7 site Addin menu display
Support Case Month: April 2012

I've tried to follow your instructions for creating an AllWebMenus menu in Drupal 7.

After importing the main menu from Drupal, I styled a beautiful AWmenu. This I compiled and, using the linko-7 Drupal module, uploaded. I set the bocks to show menu1 in the menu area - nothing appeared. So as not to leave the site without a menu I also placed the Superfish menu block in the menu block and that appears.

Re the html.tpl.php modification, my Drupal Respond theme <http://drupal.org/project/respond> doesn't have a  html.tpl.php file. But the Respond theme is a subtheme of the Omega theme <http://drupal.org/project/omega>, which does have that file.

The body tag starts as <body<?php print $attributes;?>> and I added <?php if (function_exists('AWM_Linking_Code')) AWM_Linking_Code(); ?> after that, but still nothing.

Any suggestions please on how I get the AWmenu to appear in Drupal 7?

Thanks and Regards

Mick

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Mick,

I believe the problem is that you renamed the zip.

The zip should already have the correct name. To achieve this, the “compiled menu name” in the application must match the online menu name.

In your case, you must either change the online menu name from “menu1” to “menu”:

menu name

or change the compiled menu name from “menu” to “menu1”.

compiled menu name

How do I embedded a menu to a CMS

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Jack,

Which specific CMS are you using? For the three most common CMS platforms (Joomla, Drupal, WordPress) we have special plugins that will help you with the integration. If you are using something else, you can always manually link the menu to the template.

I am using radius webtool at http://www.radiuswebtools.com/parishes for my CMS.

how do I manually link the menu to the template?

Thanks,

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello again,

After you Compile the menu, you should click on the "Link menu to web pages" button:

link menu to web pages

Then in the “Link” window, select the second tab:

menu linking code

And copy-paste this code into your template. You have to make sure that the path (highlighted) is correct. For this I suggest that you use a root-relative (i.e. starting with “/”) or a full path.

Let me know if you need more help.
