How can I add the tag: id="awmAnchor-menu" to a CSS file?
As you can see the menu in my URL scrolls, when it should be in the gray area.
I'm using some new code to keep the top header at the top, and want the menu up there to.

Thanks ...need some magic :-)
Pat

Dear Pat,

Please try the following Positioning:

menu positioning properties

Also, you should set the menu to “float on scroll”:

menu floats on scroll

Hi Kostas,

How can I get a Web Modal window to activate with an Input type="Submit" or Type="Image" button with onclick? It works great with a Type="Button". And is there a way to return True/False (or any other value) to the onclick so a button can be used for validation or a Go/No Go from the modal window?

Thanks,
Gus

Dear Gus,

If you have this submit button in a form and want to show the form result inside the Modal Window, then there is a simple way to capture the “on submit” event. You just need to add the correct “target” to your form:

correct target of the form in a modal window

If you just want to show a standard Modal Window, then there are many ways to do this using the element ID, Class or “onclick” method:

modal window on click event

For example: <input type=”image” onclick=”Modal_Window_1();” … />

Finally, regarding returning a value from the modal, this is not possible in the sense of a “confirm” dialog as the modal is not blocking the JavaScript execution.

Still it allows you to run any JavaScript code on exit, so you can do anything you like there (for example check a modal/page element value and act accordingly):

run JavaScript on modal window close

Hello,

I want to buy the software, but I have to know before, FOR SURE, if it supports html5, modern browsers, and IE7 to IE10 (the same question for Likno Web Modal Windows Builder).

Also please inform if AllWebMenus works under a structure as:

<body>

<div id="inner">

<div id="outer">

<div id="Wrapper">  (positioning relative)

<here should be Likno menu> (positioning absolute)

I worked with Sothink DHTML Menu, that doesn’t support html5, and I have to switch to another software.

There is a starting sample at www.romtehnochim.com.

Thanks in advance,

Adrian

Dear Adrian,

Yes, AllWebMenus does fully support HTML5 as well as all the latest browsers and mobile devices.

It will work with every possible HTML structure so you do not have to worry about this. Just select the page Element that will be used for Positioning and your menu will be attached to it.

Also note that if you find any difficulties, we are always here to help you out.

Kostas

Dear Shraddha,

In order to add a modal window to your page you need to:

1) create your modal window project in the application (you’ve done this)

2) “Compile” and “Link” this project to your existing webpage

3) If you want the modal window to be triggered by a specific page element, then add the appropriate code to that element

Modal Window settings

If you did all of the above and the modal window still does not show, please send me:

1) your project

2) your HTML page

And tell me exactly which element should open the modal.

Best Regards,
Kostas
