Is it possible to embed a slider into a tab menu page and how is it do

Thanks in advance,
Mohssin

Hello,

The best way to do this is to create a separate page that holds the slider and add this into the tab as an "external" page.

add external page to the web tab

Hello,

You are amazing, I just have one bit of advice to ask is it possible to embed more than one scroller on a web page without conflict, and can I embed 3 scrollers in 3 tab pages using tab builder so each scroller would be embedded in every tab page then the tab project embedded on a page.

I tried setting up different directories but had conflicts.

Thanks again

Mohssin

Hello Mohssin,

Sure, you can have as MANY scrollers (or other likno products) on the same page as you wish.

How?

First, make sure that each project has its OWN (custom) name for its COMPILED outcome. For example, this is "project1":

web scroller project custon name

Do, the same for "project2", etc.

Then, you should make sure that you LINK ALL compiled projects to the same page (for example "project1" and "project2" and "project3", you should have 3 "linking codes" on the page, one for each).

Finally, BE CAREFUL with the positioning ID:

positioning of the web scroller

You need to have DIFFERENT IDs per project, otherwise you will have a CLASH in positioning (each scroller will be positioned on TOP of other scrollers, or not show at all, etc.).

For example, change the above to:

change positioning element ID

These are mainly the points to remember.

Knowledge Base support case for Likno Web Modal Windows Builder, abstracted and stripped of all user’s private info.

Support Case Month: April 2012

I am trying to embed a video into the page as you describe doing, but I can't get it to work. Instead, I either get google's home page, your video, or the link to open in a new window.

To see my list of files, remove test.html from the url.

Oh and each time I go to make a change, I get to the point where the "add links" files window pops up, then when I click ok, I get run time error 10 message and I have to open the program again and start over.

Hello,

First of all, I saw that you have the following page in your link:

http://www.1littleworld.net/videos/A001%20A-team.html

Going to this page, I did not see the video work. There must be something wrong in the video or your code. In any case, if it does not work directly in the page, it will not work within the modal.

Then I see that you have set the link to have “target='Modal_Window_1_single'”. In order for this to work, in the application you must have the “page links” option selected:

modal window page links

Finally, in the “A-team” file, you are not properly closing the </body> and </html> tags:

not proper closing of html tags

This is not causing any problems – it is just bad HTML.

Let me know if you try the above and need more help.

How do I embedded a menu to a CMS

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Jack,

Which specific CMS are you using? For the three most common CMS platforms (Joomla, Drupal, WordPress) we have special plugins that will help you with the integration. If you are using something else, you can always manually link the menu to the template.

I am using radius webtool at http://www.radiuswebtools.com/parishes for my CMS.

how do I manually link the menu to the template?

Thanks,

Jack

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello again,

After you Compile the menu, you should click on the "Link menu to web pages" button:

link menu to web pages

Then in the “Link” window, select the second tab:

menu linking code

And copy-paste this code into your template. You have to make sure that the path (highlighted) is correct. For this I suggest that you use a root-relative (i.e. starting with “/”) or a full path.

Let me know if you need more help.

Knowledge Base support case for Likno Web Button Maker, abstracted and stripped of all user’s private info.

Initial Email From:
Todd
Initial Email Subject: Multiple Buttons per page
Support Case Month: September 2012

Greetings! Admittedly, I am new to the Likno Web Button Maker and sure could use your help.

I have a webpage that is intended to have multiple three-state buttons contained in it. My question relates to: what is the best way to embed the code for three separate buttons within a single webpage?

What I have been doing is to use the same button template, change the wording of the button, and export each button's three states.

When you view the" Related URL", none of the buttons have the three-state performance.

Any chance you could take a look at this an offer any creative advice? I thank you kindly.

Todd

Dear Todd,

I just visited your page and I see the three buttons all working fine as three-state buttons:

mouse over button

Did you manage to resolve the problem in the meantime? If not, please check that you did not accidentally disable JavaScript in your browser. If the issue persists, let me know which browser you are using so that I can further test this.

Finally, as a hint, when you create multiple similar buttons you can setup a “Button Family”. You can do this by using the “Add Button” in the Text tab:

add button

This way you get a single script and all your buttons with a single “export”.

Yes, I seemed to have figured it out.  The Button Family was a welcome feature to get to know.
Thanks, Kostas!  Smile
