Excuse me, but to install the menu created I must have necessarily the product Expression Web Add-in?

Fabrizio

Hello Fabrizio,

The AllWebMenus Expression Web Add-in is just to help you easily insert your menu to your pages you have created in Expression Web. It is not necessary.

You only need AllWebMenus Pro, so you can create your menus.

Then, if you want to link those menus to pages created in Expression Web, you may want to use the Expression Web Add-in (which is free).

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Support Case Month: December 2013

Hello:

I have created a very large website with different sections of the website placed sub-folders. With the Dreamweaver Extension can I have each page in a menu in it's own sub-folder?

I am converting from Microsoft Expression web to Dreamweaver. In Expression web I can copy CSS menu links from one page to another and the program corrects the URL tree. Dreamweaver will not correct the URL in this way. In Dreamweaver I must relink all links. So this process takes an instant in Expression web but takes forever in Dreamweaver.

Will your program allow me to put the same menu on a different page without relinking all the links?

Thank you for your time

Mark

Hello Mark,

You can link your menus easily through AllWebMenus.

When you have finished editing your menu, you Compile it and then you Link Menu to your pages. You can click "Link Menu" and then select all the pages you need to link that menu to, from the left panel and then click on right arrows to transfer them in the right panel. The right panel contains all the pages you want to link the menu to. When you have selected all of them, click Link and you are done. This process will link the menu to your pages, relative to your Site Root. So, you don’t need to change any link on your own.

I want to purchase three programs; scroller, accordion, and tabs but I am unable to link these to my EW4 software.  How can I do his?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

Specifically for Likno Web Scroller Builder, we have a special EW4 Add-in that will help you with the integration:

http://www.likno.com/jquery-scroller/microsoft-expression-web.php

For the other two applications, we do not yet have an add-in, but you can manually add the Linking Code and Positioning Code to your HTML pages and it will work without problems.

Initial Email Subject: Menu does not appear on preview pages
Support Case Month: February 2013

I use SiteSpinner Pro to build my webpages. I cannot get my menu to show up on my project pages in preview mode. Of course this should show me what my published page will look like.

If I "publish to disk" and compile to that page, then open the local page with "HTML Kit" everything looks fine, the menu is placed and operational. If I try to open the preview pages in the editor I get a script error popup that says "The value of the property 'awmBuildMenu' is null or undefined, not a function object."
If I try to compile to the preview page nothing happens.

What suggestions do you have to allow me to see a finished page before I move it to my website?

Thanks

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

I am afraid that the preview of SiteSpinner (as well as that of most web builders) does not support complex JavaScript components.

In Dreamweaver or Expression Web there is an option of “live preview” (or “SuperPreview” or something like that in EW) which does fully support JavaScript. I do not know if SiteSpinner has a similar option, but if it does, then the menu should work there.
