How can I add the tag: id="awmAnchor-menu" to a CSS file?
As you can see the menu in my URL scrolls, when it should be in the gray area.
I'm using some new code to keep the top header at the top, and want the menu up there to.
Thanks ...need some magic
Pat

Dear Pat,
Please try the following Positioning:

Also, you should set the menu to “float on scroll”:

Hello! We have released a new version of Likno Web Scroller (jQuery Slider) Builder: Version 1.0 build #124.
Check out What's New
- Added Example 10 (Google Analytics mockup): Similar scroller to the live scroller used on Google Analytics (as of Oct 9, 2012). Use of a "Bullets" only Navigation Bar. Use of "Navigation Arrows". Use of *Play on Page Load* (automatic play). Use of "Pause when mouse is over the Scroller".

- Added Example 11 (WordPress mockup): Similar scroller to the live scroller used on WordPress (as of Oct 15, 2012). Use of character-based (HTML) "Navigation Arrows". Use of *Play on Page Load* (automatic play). Use of "Pause when mouse is over the Scroller". Use of "Slide" effect.

- Added the Fade "blending" options.

- Added the "Rewind" option when the "Transition" is of the "Continuous" type.

- Added a Vertical Offset (or Horizontal for vertical scrollers) to the Navigation Arrows.

- Updated all Examples that were using CSS-based vertical arrow offsets to use the new property instead.
- Fixed an issue where the style was changing when using the item Link property.
- Fixed an issue where IE produced a horizontal scrollbar if the parent of the positioning item had a fixed width & height AND 'float: left;'.
- Fixed an issue where items with links had a border in IE.

I am having a hard time inserting allwebmenus on a sharepoint 2010 master page. I am not sure where to put the code. i have the reference to the .js file right after the opening Body tag in code. I am placing the anchor tag after <div id="MSO_ContentDiv" runat="server"> in the body. I have tried placing the anchor tags in different places in master page but keep coming up with an error or the menu just not appears.
Thank you! I really like your menus and use them all the time. Have used the menus in sharepoint 2007 as well and it worked fine.

Dear Darlene,
I checked your page and noticed that you have two menus linked, each compiled with a different version of AllWebMenus. Note that this can cause problems and you should always make sure that all menus in a site are compiled with the same version.
Let me know if you need more specific help with something.

Kostas

Good morning, thank you for getting back to me. The url that was in the contact form isn’t the site with the issue. The site that I am having a problem with is protected so it is not accessible. But the site is a SharePoint 2010 site. I have the menu appearing on the page now but it stays fixed and does not scroll along with the page. Any ideas on how to make the menu scroll along with the contents of the page?
Thank you,
darlene

You need to set the menu to “Float on Scroll”:

Unless I'm missing it, here's an idea for your menu program (which by the way I love). You currently have a way to choose the space between items. But, how about a way to insert an image between items?
If you look at the URL I listed, you can see a menu I made (the old fashion hard way) and the items have a diamond shape between them.
I know you have a background image (2) function that's right justified. But, that's not really going to work for me because I want to center the text on the remaining blank area to the left.
Let me know what you think or if I'm missing a feature that's already like this.
Thanks,
Steve

Hello Steve, I see what you mean.
It could be possible if we enhance the "Has Separator" property to also have images, etc.

Oops! Forgot to include the image of the menu…
Never say never…
Here's a menu I started and put a diamond object between the menu items.
What I did was float the image to the right center then use the "x" offset to push it out past the menu button for the width of the diamond.
Then I set the distance between menu items to same distance as the offset.
I had to play a little with the padding to center the text.
It's still not perfect but, I bet I could get it to work with a little more playing around.

Is there any way to have the menu scale to fit the various screen resolutions e.g. desktops, laptops, netbooks, smartphones? I'm currently working on a website that uses CSS to scale the elements whenever the window is resized. Unfortunately this has no affect on the horizontal menu I created and put inside a DIV tag. I hope there is some way this can be accomplished and any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I know very little about Java Script and I'm a novice with CSS

Hello,
I am afraid it is not possible to change the menu with CSS rules like you do for the rest of the page, as the menu is a complex JavaScript control.
The only thing you can do is to set the menu as “menubar” in which case it will always stretch to cover the full length of the browser. Still, if the browser window is smaller, the menu will stay big and float outside the page.

Kostas
