Thanks for your help.  I purchased the new software and it seemed to solve the problem.  The menu now appears in my website.
However, there is a problem that I have been unable to solve.  I can navigate through all the pages except when I return to the home page.  When I do that, it can't find the home page.   I have recompiled and I have insured that the shared bottom border is selected for all pages in Frontpage 2000.

Can you offer any help?

Hello Bob,

First, thank you for updating your software's license.

The problem happens because you have a wrong link in your "Home" menu item.

In order to correct that you need to go to your menu project, select the "Home" menu item and go to Link property. There you need to have the correct link.

After you have done the change, you need to re-compile your menu project and re-upload all the produced files.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Hello, we have released a new version of AllWebMenus Pro: Version 5.3 build #914.

Check out What's New

- Added 2 new Themes: "Flat Floral" and "Flat Calm".

Flat Floral drop down Menu Theme

Flat Calm drop down menu theme

- Optimized libraries: awmlib4.js (used by Opera) is not needed anymore on newly compiled (or re-compiled) projects. Instead, awmlib2.js is used for Opera too (with several patches to support the Opera quirks).

- Fixed an issue in IE10 and background images of the menu, when scrolling up and down the page.

I am using Frontage 2002 (10.6308.6870) on windows 7. I am running 5.3 Build #904.

I can import the Frontpage navigation structure but when I try to generate the menu Allwebmenus stops working.

automation error

Dear Geoff,

This means that AllWebMenus does not have enough access rights to do what you are asking. This can be caused if you have set the FrontPage to run in “Compatibility Mode” in windows 7, as this also gives it administrator rights.

I believe the easiest way to correct this issue, is to run AllWebMenus “as Administrator”. To do this permanently, you need to right-click on the desktop shortcut, select Properties, then the “Compatibility” tab, then check the “Run this program as an administrator” option. Note that this will only work when you start AllWebMenus from the desktop icon. It will not work if you start AllWebMenus by double-clicking a project file.

How do I name my menu as a js file? I wish to add it into an existing Frontpage document, your help facility isn't very clear.

Kind regards,
Steven

Hello,

You need to compile your menu (within AllWebMenus) and you will get the .js compiled menu files.
