Hello Support:

When I resize my browser window, a couple of things happen to the responsive menu:

(1) When I resize to the horizontal, 2 row or 3 row, the menu theme breaks apart. The content below the menu does not move down. The menu covers some of the content.

I have tried different responsive sizes, and I looked at the sample responsive menu. I can't figure out what is wrong. I know that it is something simple. Please help me!

Hello,

The theme you are using does not support multi-row menus, hence you see the header/footer of the menu being for a single row.

Unfortunately for image-based themes that were designed for a single row, the only solution is to open the header/footer graphic and edit it in order to make a graphic that will cover both rows.

Hello Kostas:

Thank you for your response. If you could tell me which themes do support single row. I don't understand which themes are not image based themes.

Yours Respectfully,

Pamela

Dear Pamela,

Our themes are too many to state them one by one in a list. I guess you can try them out to be sure, but if you are looking for themes that support multi-row menus the main thing to look for is that they should not have a header & footer. This means that every button looks exactly the same and there is no difference in the first & last button.

For example:

menu example 1

menu example 2

menu example 3

On the other hand, this does NOT support multi-row because it has header/footer images:

Hi,

We are considering purchasing one of your packages, but I had a few concerns about adding the menu to our site.  We currently use Miva Merchant for our E-commerce solution and I was wondering if you have ever integrated one of your menus on the Miva Merchant platform.  I noticed other CMS platforms like Drupal and WordPress to your site, but I just wanted to know if your menus would work with Miva Merchant.  And do you offer any sort of support help if we need help with implementation.

Thanks!
Randy

Dear Randy,

You should not have any problems with your E-Commerce platform. We do not have a specific plugin, but you can use the standard method of adding the Linking Code into your template (usually in the header file). In any case, we are here to help you with specific help if the need arises.

I followed all the instructions on

http://www.likno.com/addins/wordpress-menu.html

and the plugin Settings page, including adding the PHP right beneath my Header.PHP file's <body> tag, but alas, nothing works.

If you look at the source of the page, you can see the javascript runs, but the menu isn't showing up.  Please help!

Hello Robert,

I now see your website. I also see that you do have a menu, is this the AllWebMeuns menu?

Because I do see the menu-linking code there.

No, that is the Pagelines native menu.  I need to keep it in there until I get the other menu working.

Hello,

It seems that your menu was compiled to work only locally!

Please correct this here:

I want to use a custom font on my menu.  So I have the following in my header:

<link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Raleway' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

And then I created the custom font set for my menu:

'Raleway', Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif

And my menu completely disappears!  Please advise.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

I just checked your site and I see that the menu is there, but without the Raleway font. I assume that you removed it in the meantime in order to make your menu show again.

Did you try adding the new font without any quotes? If not, please try this now and let me know if it worked.

Hello again,

Are the menus seen as html or as image from browsers/spiders?
There is one thing that I couldn’t manage yet. How do I show an image/icon before the text/name of main menu and sub menu items? Right now if I set an image than it doesn’t show the text anymore…

Thanks,
Paolo

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Paolo,

The menus are JavaScript, so they are not directly visible from browsers, in order to avoid “spamming” due to repetition of the same links. This is why you should use the “SiteMap” which you can automatically product from AllWebMenus, and add it to your page for the best SEO performance. (look in Tools for more info)

Regarding the image, do you want to have an image per item, for example on the left side of the text? If so, then you need to specify this in the Project Assets:

select image from project assets

If you want an image on the left of all the menu (not part of an item), then you need to use the “header” properties:

menu header image

Make sure that you also check the relative Style properties:
