two column menu

Dear Stefan,

This should not be a problem. You simply need to go to the Style Editor and set your submenus to have two columns:

two columns submenu

Note that you can also do this for a specific submenu only (if this is what you want):

specific two columns submenu

Great support, that was the solution, i was looking for.

Is there a possibility to define, where to break into the next column or is it half / half?

Thanks,
Stefan

I am afraid that the break happens automatically and it tries to have the same number of items in each column.

Still, you may choose to make a horizontal submenu with e.g. 9 rows, so that a submenu with 15 items would have 2 columns with 9 & 6 items respectively, but you have to be careful with the item placement if the order is important.

Support Case Month: July 2012

I'm creating a new Drupal website with a horizontal menu and 1 line horizontal submenu (look at "Kunden" or "Konatkt").

My problem:
The submenu disappears when I click an item of the submenu! The submenu should only disappear when I click a new main item (I set STICKY SUBMENU and I unchecked "clicks somewhere on page" and "hovers over another item in the same group").

Thank you for your support

Many Regards

Josef

Dear Josef,

This happens because each time you click on a menu item you load a new page (and the menu is rebuilt from scratch).

What you want to do, is to use the automatic highlight of the current page which will also open the submenu in which the page link resides:

Dear Kostas,

thank you very much - this option was already checked. Now I tried the website under SAFARI, CHROME and IE and everything works as designed. Under FIREFOX the submenu disappears (the browser cache was cleared). Is this a browser problem?!

Again thank you very much for your answer

Josef

Dear Josef,

I just checked your page with Firefox and I see that the menu works fine.

Do you still not see the submenu in your Firefox? Would you please try deleting the cache files again and then press Ctrl+F5 to fully refresh the page?
