Hello Bill,

This is really strange, can you please tell us which "component" shows this problem? Or send us a screenshot to see what it says?

Also, which antivirus/antimalware are you using?

Thank you and sorry for the problem, we need to figure out what is happening.

Looks like I just had to install an update and use the new activation code so it appears to be working again.

Thanks

Dear Erik,

This is very weird and suggests that either some files were locked or you do not have write rights in this PC.

I suggest that you make a new installation attempt, but first make sure that nothing will be blocking it. Specifically you should:

1) Restart windows to make sure that no files are still locked by a windows process.

2) Make sure that no other applications are running, preferably even turn off the antivirus.

3) Make sure that the old installation is removed, manually deleting any remaining files under “C:\Program Files (x86)\Likno Web Modal Windows Builder”.

4) Install the application again.

5) If you still get an error, try running the installer “as Administrator”.

I have purchased a new computer.  How can I migrate my AllWebMenus program from my old computer to the new one?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Kerry,

Just install AllWebMenus there and get a new Activation Code for the new Installation ID that will be created there.

To get a new/updated Activation Code, manage your Account/Licenses (Upgrade/Extend), download the latest version, change your Profile (login/email address/name/password), etc.

Support Case Month: September 2012

Hello.  I'm trying to install a button pack on windows 7.  When i run the installpack.exe it says the program has been detected in in the following dir: "(`6w"  If i try to browse to the correct dir and click install it gives me the error invalid path.

do the button packs work on windows 7 and if they do how do i get them to install correctly?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

We just released a new version of Button Maker (build 162), which (amongst others) now fully supports the Button Packs in 64-bit systems.

Did you get the “invalid path” error in the installer or in the application? If you got this in the application then the new version will resolve it.

You may download it here:

Menus stopped working on Safari upgrade to 5.1.7

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

It appears that the menu on your website was compiled with an *old* version of AllWebMenus (see “release history” here: http://www.likno.com/whatsnew.html ).

You need to update/upgrade your AllWebMenus and re-compile/re-upload your menu files, as the *old* compiled menu cannot support the latest browsers and standards. Some browser versions did not even exist by that time.

How?

- Login to your Likno User Area at http://www.likno.com/userarea

- Click the "View/Manage Licenses and Plans":

view or manage menu licenses and plans

- See there if your Update Plan has expired or not.

If "expired" then click the "Renew" link and renew your Update Plan.

- Download the current Version (Build) ( http://www.likno.com/download.html ) and install it.

- In your Likno User Area, click the "Get Activation Code" link and get a new Activation Code for this updated installation:

get activation code

- Open your old project file (.awm) in AllWebMenus, re-compile it and then upload the new menu files (along with the "awmdata" folder) to your website.

Note that you may need to delete your browser’s Temporary Internet Files (or cache files) before refreshing the page in order to see the menu.

Thanks!
