Hi Aggelos,

Regarding problems with Web Scroller on our website.

We have compiled the scroller project for our domain and we have uploaded the compiled files. However, the scroller does not display online despite the fact the it shows on localhost.

Hello Simon,

It seems that you have some missing images (bullets I guess...). That can cause the scroller not to display online as it loads on a different way live than on localhost.

Please, upload those images to the specified path and let me know how that worked.

Thank you!

Thanks Aggelos,

It was a path problem. The path should not contain the cgi-bin to those images ( it's to do with how our shopping basket works ), so I looked in the project and changed the paths to start with a '/' before the PDGCommTemplates and that solved the problem.

Thanks again for your help.

Hello,
My company may be interested in your modal window builder - just have a quick question. We had code for a modal window plugin we'd been using, but one of our clients just updated their website and none of the plugins are compatible with their jQuery library - they updated to jQuery 1.10.2. Will your code work with that?
Thanks,
Miriam

Hello Miriam,

First, thank you for your interest in our Likno products.

Our library uses its own jQuery version (a separate jQuery file for Modal Windows), so it does not matter which jQuery your clients already use. This is deliberate so that no problems occur with other scripts, etc.

Thank you!

Hi,

In Web Tooltips Builder, is there a way I can decrease the border width below 5 pixels on example 01? I used that example to build my tooltips.

Thanks!

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

You can decrease the width of the tooltip's border by clicking on Style Editor Tab > Tooltip CSS > Border and decrease the border size to what is best for your design.

jquery tooltip border width

Then, you need to re-compile your tooltip project and re-upload the produced files to your server.

Thank you!

In Likno Web Modal Windows Builder I would like to use the API calls but I get the following error message:

Uncaught ReferenceError: myModalName is not defined

I have created my Modal Window project, I have compiled it and linked it to my pages.I have written the script following your instructions for the modal window API, but I still get the above error. What I have done wrong?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

According to your project the name of your modal window is Modal_Window_1, not myModalName that is why it is not recognized.

jQuery modal window

You are trying to assign parameters to a modal window with the name myModalName but this does not exist. The modal window in your project is Modal_Window_1 so this is what you should use instead of myModalName.

You may want to see more information about the Modal Window API here:

There is a problem with a scroller made with scroller builder. It  scrolls very slow and  in a ragged pace when you press "next" button.

When I test scroller on my computer, everything is working.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

You may want to increase the speed of the scroller. In order to do so, go to Style Editor tab and increase the value of the Speed in Behavior section.

increase jquery slider speed

Then, you need to re-compile your scroller project and re-upload the produced files to your server.
