Hello at Likno,

today I have a presale question for "Web Scroller Builder" and Typo3.

How can I integrate your application into Typo3? Just by using HTML etc. or do you have a separate extension for Typo3?

And, which versions of Typo3 are supported (Ver 4.X or also Ver 6.X up)?

Thank you in advance for an answer...

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

First, thank you for your interest in Likno Web Scroller Builder.

I am afraid we do not have a Typo3 Extension for Likno Web Scroller Builder.

If you are able to add your custom code in Typo3 then you should not have any problem adding a scroller to your page/s.

You have 4 ways to populate your scroller items.

jQuery slider populate content

Depending on the population method you have selected you need to add the appropriate code to your page.

You can see the code you need to add to your page by going to Sample Code tab.

sample code for jQuery slider

The least code you may need to add is the "Linking Code" and the "positioning code".

If you choose to populate the items through DIVs or UL/LI then you need to add more code in your page, as the actual code for the scroller items will reside in your page.

Of course, we are here to help you in any case.

Thank you.

Support Case Month: May 2014

Hi guys;

I am trying to use "named anchors" as in HTML links, in the modal window,....example:

http://www.site.com#anchor

I have been searching the knowledgebase and help, but can't seem to find anything on it.

How would I do that? Here's what I am using now to open the modal window with the page.....

<a href="#" target="index_new_sport_columns">Windstreamer<br />
Truck Rack</a>

It's just a single page with multiple products. You can see what I am doing here....

{URL REMOVED}

When you click on an image, or on the text below the image, it opens the window. But I want the page in the window to jump to the product you initially clicked on.

Thank you so much for your help.

Ronn

Hello Ronn,

In order to do that, make sure you have selected "Make certain links/forms in page open in this window"

make certain links open in modal window

Then in your main page you can have your links like that:
after the end of you link add a # (hash) and the name of your anchor that will be in the page that opens in your modal window.

named anchor links

Then, in the page that opens in your modal window add those links in the areas you need to opened for each of your items. So you need to place a tags with the attribute name.

These names you are going to use them on you main page to define the content that will be first placed when your modal opens.

name attribute in link

Please, let me know if I can be of further help.

Just purchased the scroller. How do you delete the "get started" from the slides when published.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Allen,

First, thank you for your purchase.

Could you please send me a screenshot so that I can understand better the issue? I cannot see any "get started" when I publish a scroller.

Thank you.

When I am publishing in a generic format for HTML, I get the get started button on the test site.

Can't figure where it is coming from.  Using Firefox/xp pro / win 7-8, same output on all.

Hello Allen,

OK, I got you….You have created a scroller strating from the Example 11 (WordPress mockup).

In order to remove that Get Started button go to Style Editor -> Areas and uncheck the Bottom Area (as this is the area that has the code for the button you see).

Please, let me know if you need further help.

The last time I asked a couple of apps like tabs had Joomla extensions. Can Modal be used in Joomla?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Richard,

Sure, there is no problem in using it with Joomla. You just need to link the project to the Joomla page and have the files uploaded properly online.

Thank you!

Initial Email Subject: Dynamic external html
Support Case Month: December 2013

Hello Aggelos,

I’m liking all the products so far, as I just purchased everything for $200.

Currently using the Modal Windows Builder and have a question.

On my site each product is categorized and need to provide a context sensitive “sizing chart’” popup based on the category.

For example:

If the customer is in the men’s category  I need to popup the men’s sizing chart

If the customer is in the women’s category  I need to popup the women’s sizing chart

If  the customer is in the kid’s category  I need to popup the kid’s sizing chart…etc

I would like to use the same generated code from your application using different external source input. All category/product use the same product page template, therefore the generated code from Likno assumes the same external html file for the content.

How can I make this dynamic based on conditional code as the example above.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Rick,

You can use the choice "Make certain links/forms in page open in this window".

make certain links open in a modal window

Then you can call each of your links to open in this modal window.

Thank you!
