AllWebMenus is an easy to use application that gives you the ability to create any type of menu without any coding.

We also have an Expression Web Add-in to help you insert your menus created with AllWebMenus in your Expression Web sites. You may want to see that page: http://www.likno.com/microsoft-expression-web.html and give it a try.

Also, you need to know that we are always here and happy to help you in any case.

Excuse me, but to install the menu created I must have necessarily the product Expression Web Add-in?

Fabrizio

Hello Fabrizio,

The AllWebMenus Expression Web Add-in is just to help you easily insert your menu to your pages you have created in Expression Web. It is not necessary.

You only need AllWebMenus Pro, so you can create your menus.

Then, if you want to link those menus to pages created in Expression Web, you may want to use the Expression Web Add-in (which is free).

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Hello Aggelos,

See the attached zip for my exported project file.

I have created it as a CSS menu. Am using the suggested UL/LI structure in my web page.

The menu structure works fine in the linked web page. But when I add a image to the “Home Place” menu item in AllWebMenus PRO, it does not do anything with it ... nothing appears in any code ?

Regards, Dave

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello David,

In order to have the Home icon appear, you need to manually add it as it is a CSS version of the menu.

So, your structure will look like this;

CSS menu structure code

You need to add in

 <li><img src="your image path" /><a href="default.html">Home Place</a></li>

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Hi

Thanks for a great product!!

I use two menus on my pages and one of the menus is an "up" and "back" arrow, floating on the center bottom of the page. It works fine on Internet Explorer and Safari but on iPad it appears first but the disappears when you scroll down the page.

How can I solve this?

I use AllWebMenus Pro 5 version 5.3 Build #902

Thanks

Mikael

Hello Mikael,

I see in your page that you have compiled your menu project with AllWebMenus version 5.3.902 but you still have the library files from version 5.3.880

menu file

Please, re-compile your menu projects and re-upload all the produced files to your server (along with the awmdata folder).

Please, let me know how that worked for you.

Thank you!

Dear people of likno,

I have some trouble with making an responsive menu.

Problem is that my menu is to large in width, too many items.

I`ve tried everything to make it 2 columns in mobile version , but i did not succeed.

Maybe you can give me any suggestions?

Also i am looking for a way to collapse the menu in mobile version.

So when they hit a little icon,  the menu will roll out.

Maybe you have some ideas to help me out.

A very happy user of a few likno products.

Kind regards,
Aart

Hello Aart,

One idea would be to change the menu type for version 2 or 3, the one that will be served on tablets (horizontally/vertically).

So, you could make the menu to be 2 rows.

multirows horizontal menu

For the version 4 (smartphones) you could for example have the menu type as sliding.

sliding menu

And in order to succeed clicking to a button to have the menu appear, you could change the menu positioning of version 4 to manually trigger Main menu, then select on click and copy that code. You then, can create a button for example in your page and add the code you copied, so you can have the menu appear when clicking on that button.

manually trigger menu positioning

manually trigger menu code

You could also take a look on our responsive menu example to see how we have implemented and take ideas or even customize it to your needs.

why does it pile up on each other?  (not viewable)Especially in Chrome, Sometimes Firefox will be ok and render properly but I have two computers that it will not.  But Chrome seems to always error.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Val,

You need to correct your responsive.css file

CSS media query

That is not correct, so it causes problems to the menu as well.

Thank you!
