If you take a look at the URL I've attached you can see that I have a mouse over state where the text changes color and the left margin increases.

Is there away to "slow down" the transition from the normal state to the hover state so that it appears as if the text is sliding to the right?

If so, could you help me with the CSS needed and indicated where exactly I would put it.

Thank you,

David

Hello David,

Open you accordion project  -> Style Editor -> Pane Headers Common CSS -> Hand Coded CSS and type transition: all 0.3s ease-in;

CSS transition for accordion header

Re-compile your accordion project and re-upload the produced files to your server.

This way you will have the headers of the accordion to have the same transition effect as your menu.

Please, let me know how that worked for you.

Thank you.

Kind Regards

Can I add a sound effect to a button when you slide your mouse over it?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

I am afraid this will not be possible or not easy to be done.

You may want to read that support case: http://www.likno.com/blog/can-add-sound-on-menu-click/3738/

And maybe this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5255160/button-hover-sound-using-html5-audio

However, I think this would not be a good choice, as sounds will increase your page loading time and the majority of users find it annoying. As I have read this is not considered as a good practice. Think of  a user visits your page by his work PC and when he tries to hover over your menu some sounds start playing…if he has speakers the most probable is that will feel uncomfortable and leave the page.

Please, let me know if you need further help.

Thank you.

Hello Greg,

In order to correct the tooltip that appears, please go to the Main Item (in Menu Structure) and then click on Advanced (in Item Properties), click on Tooltip and delete that text or change it to something else.

Then, you need to re-compile your menu project and re-upload all the produced files to your server.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Hi
The problem of links not highlighting, only occurs when the modal window
covers the trigger button, so is dependent on screen resolution as well.

Hello Graham,

You may want to add Hover CSS for your img with id="Image1"

CSS properties

You could add in your CSS file

#Image1:hover { Cursor:pointer; }

This way, no matter what, when you mouse over this image you will have the pointer cursor.

In Chrome though it works for me.

Initial Email Subject: want to trigger a dropdown menu by mousing over an image
Support Case Month: February 2013

Hello:

Site is {URL REMOVED}

I hope the attachment demonstrates what I want to accomplish.

When hovering or clicking a column header or the image directly below it, we want the drop part of the menu to appear.

We want to add to the function of the menu to get the dropdown when either the column head or the image is moused over or clicked.

I can send the existing menu file, if needed.

Thanks for considering my question.

Regards,
Joe

Dear Joe,

I believe the best way to achieve this would be to actually have the image as part of the menu item. You can do this easily if you set the menu item as HTML and add your image normally.

menu item as HTML

Then you need to fix the submenu position here:
