I am an existing customer of AllWebMenus. I would like to know:

1) if the Web Scroller Builder script can co-exist with the AllWebMenu script on the same page?

2) can I put two sliders (different design) on the same page?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Lawrence,

First, thank you for your interest in Likno Web Scroller Builder.

1) Yes, all Likno products can co-exist in the same page, thus Likno Web Scroller Builder and AllWebMenus can work at the same page.

2) Yes, you can put as many sliders as you want in your page. To optimize that you will share the same likno-scripts folder for all the sliders so that you only call them once in your page.

Please, let me know if you need further help.

Kind Regards,

I am building a series of pages. Each page has 100 items. I want to use only one modal window per page. Some time ago someone showed me how this was done.Could you be so kind as to show me how it is done properly?

The simple table below will give you an idea. When either link is clicked, only the first ID div shows up in the window.

<table border="1">
<tr><td><a href="# Robbins1" target="Modal_Window_1">El Paso</a></td></tr>
<tr><td><a href="# Avalon1" target="Modal_Window_1">Why</a></td></tr>
</table>
<div id="Robbins1">
Marty Robbins<br>
El Paso<br>
Running Gun<br>
</div>
<div id="Avalon1">
Frankie Avalon<br>
Why
</div>

Thanks for the help, again.

Hello,

I believe that you want to use “Modal_Window_1_single” instead.

Please make sure that you have selected the “Make certain links/forms in page open in this window” option and read more about it there:

I read the info on multiple scrollers. I use embedded scrollers and gave them unique ids and project names, but only the first one defined at the beggining of the web page works. If I swap the link info at the top of the page then the other one works. Do you have any sample code using 2 embedded scrollers.

Thank you,

Harry

P.S. "What does different page elements mean?"

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Harry,

You are right. It seems there was a minor bug in our library which we have now found and fixed.

Please download the new release and compile all your scroller projects again:

Can you tell me if the Modal Window software allows us to create multiple individual popup windows for each of our animals as depicted in the image below? If if does…that would be great!

Thanks

Joe

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Joe,

You have multiple ways to do so:

One easy method is to use the "target="Modal_Window_1_single" code on each link, where the "href" will contain a reference to an "id", which will be included in the image file that you want (click the help icon [?] there for more info).

Please make sure that you have selected the “Make certain links/forms in page open in this window” option and read more about it there:

what you want the selected modal window to do

Each image that you want to be displayed should be inside the page, with a unique id for that image.

For example, for this <a> link...

<a href="#picture_ghandi" target="Modal_Window_1_single">Ghandi</a>

...the modal window shows the following image that uses this ID:

<img id="picture_ghandi" src="http://www.loveforanimals.org/images/ghandi.jpg" style="display:none;" />

So, you just place all images in the page, as follows:

<img id="picture_ghandi" src="http://www.loveforanimals.org/images/ghandi.jpg" style="display:none;" />

<img id="picture_elvis" src="http://www.loveforanimals.org/images/elvis.jpg" style="display:none;" />

… (etc.)

…and then use these links to call each image accordingly:

<a href="#picture_ghandi" target="Modal_Window_1_single">Ghandi</a>

<a href="#picture_elvis" target="Modal_Window_1_single">Elvis</a>

Notice the style="display:none;" code in the <img> tags which makes the images "invisible" in the actual page (but visible when the modal window opens to show them).
