Hello at Likno,

today I have a presale question for "Web Scroller Builder" and Typo3.

How can I integrate your application into Typo3? Just by using HTML etc. or do you have a separate extension for Typo3?

And, which versions of Typo3 are supported (Ver 4.X or also Ver 6.X up)?

Thank you in advance for an answer...

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

First, thank you for your interest in Likno Web Scroller Builder.

I am afraid we do not have a Typo3 Extension for Likno Web Scroller Builder.

If you are able to add your custom code in Typo3 then you should not have any problem adding a scroller to your page/s.

You have 4 ways to populate your scroller items.

jQuery slider populate content

Depending on the population method you have selected you need to add the appropriate code to your page.

You can see the code you need to add to your page by going to Sample Code tab.

sample code for jQuery slider

The least code you may need to add is the "Linking Code" and the "positioning code".

If you choose to populate the items through DIVs or UL/LI then you need to add more code in your page, as the actual code for the scroller items will reside in your page.

Of course, we are here to help you in any case.

Thank you.

Kind Regards,

Hello,

You have missed the accordion positioning element from your page.

You need to have it as <div id="liknoaccordion_positionID"></div>

Hello Nikolay,

You have selected to populate your accordion through DIVs but you haven't inserted any population code in your page.

Go to you accordion project, in Sample Code tab, copy the code the populates your items and paste that code in your page where you want the accordion to appear.

Support Case Month: December 2013

Hi there

Just purchased the 3 license version of LWTB today and I have spent many hours building images for a time-limited project. It is configured exactly as stated by the given documentation and I am now seeing an error message come up on my browser saying "Likno Web Tabs *cannot appear!* The required positioning element with ID="lwtAnchor-test-tab1" is not found in page (see "Positioning" property in application).

I followed the WordPress setup instructions as carefully as possible and repeated the setup process several times. Now I am almost ready to give up as it doesn't appear to be working. Is there a really simple solution that doesn't appear in any of the documentation?

Best regards,
Struan

Hi

yes,  like I said, I followed all instructions with due care and diligence.

I went through the Likno forums, Google search and a large variety of well known Dev forums to find answers...

Please find attached the requested ZIP file.

The project I am working on is being released on Friday 20th Dec hopefully with a completed Tabs interface for the R&D team to commence testing.

Cheers

Hello Struan,

On the WordPress Admin Panel change the name of the tab control to "testtab1"

wp tabs interface

Switch back to Likno Web Tabs Builder and change the Population method to Populate the tabs inside this project (this way you don't need to add any code on your own, if you indeed need the populate through DIVs let me know)

tab content population method

Change tha positioning to lwtbAnchor-testtab1

tab positioning element

Go to Project Properties and change the compiled JavaScript name to testtab1

tab project properties

Then, re-compile your tabs project for WordPress.

Switch back to WordPress Admin panel. Go to testtab1 and upload the new zip file.

Then, you can go to add a new Page for example and click on the red tabs icon

wordpress tabs shortcode

And select the tab "testtab1"

wordpress tabs

Then, the tabs should appear in that page (or all if you checked so)

Thank you!

Hi -

Can I put a black frame around the border?

THANKS!

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Janine,

You can change the border of the main menu group to your desired settings and the result will be like in the attached screenshot. In case,  this is not what you want and you want to have extra border out of the menu, you can do that in your CSS stylings of your positioning element.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Initial Email Subject: Number of panes allowed in Accordion Example
Support Case Month: October 2013

I have 27 panes for the 27 parishes in Cuenca.  However only 19 show up on my screen (26 inch) and I can't get to the rest.  I am not sure if even that many would show on a smaller screen.

1.  Is there a limit on the number of panes or did I leave something out?

2.  If there is a limit, can I put two accordions on the same page, eg vurbana and vurbana2 so that I do not have to do some kind of A to N and then another page with O to Z.

Thanks, Mike

Hello Mike,

You have checked to position your accordion relative to an element  and you have also checked the accordion to drift on page scroll. As the accordion is too long  this is not a good choice to have.

In order to correct that problem, please uncheck the "Accordion drifts on page scroll" and then you need to re-compile your project and re-upload the produced files.

jquery accordion positioning settings

Also, note that in your page you have forgotten to close the positioning element:
<div id='liknoaccordion_positionID'/>&nbsp;</div>

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

I suspect that most people that use your product are like me - more amateur than professional and in need of your assistance.
I just renewed a while back my licenses etc.  Best money I have spent.
