Hi,

I would like to find out more about your Web Tab Builders. I was wondering whether it can cross-over with my existing software of XSitepro for the web build-up. Do I get any technical support for it?

Hope to get your revert soon.

Thanks and regards,
Au

Hello Au,

You can find a lot of information about Likno Web Tabs Builder in this page: http://www.likno.com/jquery-tabs/index.php

You have 3 choices of populating your web tabs (inside the project, through DIVs or through UL/LI elements). You could use DIVs or UL/LI structure to populate the tabs inside your XSitepro pages and add a JavaScript script in the pages you want the tabs to appear. As long as you can do those 2 steps then you can have the web tabs in your XSitepro pages.

Thank you.

Kind Regards,
Aggelos

Hi everybody,
Thanks for the explanation. However, I still have doubt because I can't find much example and support from the website. Hence, I'm not so expert in HTML and CSS but I need these builder to boost up my XSitepro as it is very useful.
If I have at least 20 pages which need this tab builder, does this mean I have to upload it 20 times?
Kindly advice
Thanks and regards,
Au

Hello Au,

You can have as many pages as you want, the only steps you need to follow are:

Step1 : Use Likno Web Tabs Builder to create and stylize your web tabs. Choose the population method and the positioning method.

Step 2: Insert to the pages you have the linking code, the population code and positioning code.

Step 3: Upload the 2 folders of your project in your server.

Note: If you use a template then you only need to insert the linking code, population code and positioning code in your template once and not in every page.

You don't need to be an expert in HTML or CSS in order to do that, as the application creates any code you need.

Please see the manual for more help http://www.likno.com/downldd/Likno_Web_Tabs_Builder_Manual.pdf or see the Help in the application and let me know if you need more explanations.

Kind Regards,
Aggelos

Hello,

How do i do just a plain old slideshow with your scroller builder? I haven’t uploaded anything yet because nothing is turning out like i hoped.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

I would recommend you to start from Example 02, it uses images as scroller items so you can see how you can have images.  (Project Tab)

Scroller Items

In this example , we have selected 7 items maximum per page (depending on the container width and the width of the images). You could have only one item per page, so you can set this in the property shown below in the screenshot. (Style Editor Tab)

Show items per scroller

Then you can set the Behavior of your scroller (Style Editor Tab), you can set it to automatically scroll on page load if you want or use buttons to control this (see screenshot below)

Scroller Behavior settings

Set all the other properties you would like, like navigation arrows or navigation bar and you are done!

Don't forget to choose the population method and the positioning of your scroller.

Then, you just need to compile your menu and insert it in your page(s).

Let me know if you need any more help.

P.S.

We have just launched a new version of Likno Web Scroller Builder with Image Scroller, download it and search through the examples to take more ideas.

In this post we show how you can position your menu to your WordPress site/blog using AllWebMenus Pro and AllWebMenus WordPress Plugin.

Assuming that you have already installed AllWebMenus WordPress Plugin to your WordPress site/blog, let’s see how you can position your menu.

Step 1: Go to Plugins –> Installed Plugins

Installed Plugins in WordPress

Step 2: In your Installed Plugins you will AllWebMenus WordPress Menu Plugin, click on Settings.

AllWebMenus WordPress Menu Plugin settings

Step 3: On Menu Positioning Method you have the following choices:

AllWebMenus WordPress menu positioning methods

Custom position: you can choose custom position in cases that you need to position your menu relative to an existing element/image in your page or in case you want it to a specific place.
If you choose custom position make sure that you set the related positioning properties in your AllWebMenus (application).
You need to set your menu positioning relative to an element that already exists in your page or if you set it relative to an element that is not currently in your page, make sure to add it.

Menu positioning relative to an element

Note that you can also leave the default menu positioning in your AllWebMenus (which is relative to Window), so the menu will appear relative to window.

Widget: you can choose the widget menu positioning method in case you want the menu to appear in your themes sidebar. If you choose this method, you don’t need to make any menu positioning changes in AllWebMenus (application) as AllWebMenus is going to take control of this.
This option requires you to go to Appearance –> Widgets

WordPress Widgets

In the Inactive Widgets you will find a widget called AllWebMenus: {your menu name}, Drag this from Inactive Widgets

WordPress AllWebMenus inactive widget

and Drop it where you want it to appear.

AllWebMenus WordPress active widget

Theme Menu Location: In this method you will usually see the “Theme Menu Location: primary…” and in some cases if the theme supports it you may see the “Theme Menu Location: secondary”. These are the predefined menu positions that your theme provides.
In case, you select the Theme Menu Location method you don’t need to change anything according to menu positioning in AllWebMenus, as the application is going to take control of that.

The above is only part of the menu positioning, you need to follow all the steps in order to create a menu for your WordPress site/blog. You can find all the instructions here:

I was just wondering if it is possible to have the same menu in two place on the same page, i.e. header and footer, and if so how to do it.

Thank you for your assistance,

Larry

Hello Larry,

You could have the same menu in two places in the same page. All you should need to do is: Change the “Compiled Name” of the menu in the Project Properties.

Change the positioning (position one according to your header and the other according to your footer).

You should leave the folders as they are by default so that all of your menus see the same library files.

Things to note:

1) All your menus should be compiled with the same AllWebMenus version.

2) You should make sure that you properly Compiled, Linked and uploaded your second menus as you did with the first.

3) There is no limit to the number of  menus you can add this way.

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Hello,
It seems that you have forgotten some IE-specific offsets in your positioning:
