Will your software allow custom background and width for all buttons on all levels? (Most important is the top level needs custom art for each button; on and off states.

thanks for your response.

Hello,

Yes, our menus can be fully customized, not only per "level" but also per "item" (button).

Each menu item can have a different design for the top level and all other levels (which are unlimited).

I suggest that you download and play with the Trial version:

http://www.likno.com/download.html

You can set the main styles (per level) in the Style Editor:

Then you can “customize” each item as you wish in the Menu Editor:

Hello again,

Let me answer your questions in turn:

1) Yes we have indeed tested our products in iPhone and iPad, as well as many other smartphones and tablets. AllWebMenus fully supports all the latest browsers and mobile devices.

2) Yes, it is HTML5 compatible.

3) The “boxes” you see is most likely the background color of the Group. Please check if you have a “Distance Between Items” that will allow the Group background to show:

Support Case Month: July 2012

I have tried Style Editor Size and set minimum but I was unable to change the size from 960x40 to 900x28.

I can't figure how to do that on this horizontal menu.

thanks

Dear Bry,

First of all you need to set the Minimum Width:

menu minimum width

Then if your menu is wider than 900px, you will need to do one of the following:

1) Reduce the margin/padding of the main menu items.

2) Make sure that your items are not “uniform”:

menu items not uniform

I'm trying to import a javascript menu into the software. The menu was created using AllWebMenus. I don't see anything on this in the documentation.

Hello,

If you want to import one menu project into another, you can do this using the following option:

import menu project

Note however that for this you need to have the menu project. You cannot import from a JavaScript compiled menu file.

If you have lost your original project file and you are trying to reconstruct your menu, we do have a service that will help you:

http://www.likno.com/blog/lost-allwebmenus-project/254/

OR

...read the same text here:

If you are one of the unfortunate cases that have lost the source file of your menu (i.e. the .awm file), we now come to the rescue!

Provided that you do have the compiled javascript menu file (menu.js) somewhere online or offline, we offer a "partial reconstruction" service to get the Menu Structure of your project into a new project file (.awm).

This is a manual process and costs $89, provided that the size of the menu is not too large.

Please contact us if you wish to use this service.

Important Note:

This service recreates manually only the Menu Structure (the tree structure of items and groups), NOT the Style Properties. After you receive the reconstructed project from us, you will have to re-specify the style properties yourself to make your menu look as before.

Depending on your menu appearance (if you use customized styles for specific items or just the global Style Editor styles) you will gain about 80% of your time compared to re-designing the entire menu from scratch.

Support Case Month: October 2012

I currently have submenus set at white #FFFFFF

This shows in menu editor for each subpage and in style editor as well.

I have refreshed multiple times. Other changes get made but the font color still shows black for submenus.

What else can I do to change the color to white?

Jen

Hello Jen,

This is what I see online:

menu display

I am not sure what you want to be white and what you want to be black and what properties you have inside your AllWebMenus project.

Can you please send me any screenshot with what you want to do?

Also, please export and send me your project file, so that we can have a better look.

This is what you should do to export your project into a ZIP file and then email this ZIP to us.

Dear Jen,

It seems that the files are not correctly uploaded online! The menu you see in your page is not the Likno menu.

If you are using the WordPress plugin, please make sure that you correctly uploaded your compiled zip file.

hi,

on my AllWebMenus i have mainstyle(red) substyle(red) and substyle(gray) +

i need to create one more style with another color. how do i do that?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

I am afraid that you cannot add a fourth style in the style editor.

Instead you can customize an item to have the style you want:

customize sub item

And then you can copy-paste the style changes to all the items you want:

copy paste style values
