Is it possible for my customer to change the menu labels on the webpage?
Each customer will have different classroom names they will want to apply, and making the labels beforehand maybe impossible.

Hello,

The easiest way to do this is to create a UL/LI menu. In this case you design the menu style (colors etc.) in AllWebMenus, but the menu structure and content is defined in-page using a UL/LI list.

Please have a look here:

populate menu inside the webpage

Let me know if you need more specific help.

Thanks in Advance

Dear Mohssin,

The order is defined by the order in which you put the items in the application (or in the UL/LI or DIV structure if this is what you use).

Hello, I have a question about your Web Scroller and Web Tabs integration.

If you check out this page: http://www.csdalbenga.it/offertaformativa.html

you can see I'm using tabs with a web scroller inside the first tab.
Now, I'll need to use a web scroller inside the other two tabs too, and I was wondering if there would be a way to use the same webscroller js file although the content is different.

I fear not, because I'd have to populate the scroller with 3 different ul-li sequences inside the page, but each of them should have the same id and I don't think it would work. Is there a way?

Anyway if it isn't possible, consider it a feature suggestion, it would be useful in cases such as this.

Thanks,

Best regards,
Daniele

Dear Daniele,

Indeed it is not possible to achieve this if everything is within the same page.

One thing you can do, is to setup the tabs to use "external page" as the content. This means that you will need to have a separate HTML page for the content of each tab. Then you can have a single scroller project that is linked in each of the three pages, and each page will have a different UL/LI structure.

Hi there menu Gods!  Hey, I'm trying out your responsive menus, and finding that with the Ul/Li  method, my menu disappears on version 2-4.  It's there and fine when I have ul/li unchecked, but the moment I combine responsive with populate through ul/li, I lose smaller versions.  I'm running 5.3 build 902, and have attached my source code.

Dear William,

You are correct, currently the UL/LI and Responsive Menus do not go together, but this will be added in the next build.

Did you not get the following message when you tried to do this?

responsive menu add-in

Looking again at the screenshot, I can see that I did it in the other order – I chose responsive first, and then UL/LI populate.  I think that’s why I didn’t get the warning.

Dear Will,

You are correct! We should also have a message when selecting UL/LI or CSS menu. Anyway, I believe it will not take long until we fully support the responsive menus, so just hang on a little more.

Regarding your other two requests, I will forward them to our developers to see what they think of them. Please keep in mind that we also have a “Feature Rush” service where you pay for the development of a feature and we pledge to develop, test and release it within 10 working days. If you are interested in this I can get you a quote from our sales department.

Initial Email Subject: Strange jumping behavior for css bottom menu depending on how far down on page it is placed
Support Case Month: January 2013

I want to use two css ul/li menus on a webpage:
http://www.tsgusa.com/test_bottommenu.htm
When I move the bottom menu down to create a longer white space in between the menus, a new strange mouseover behavior occurs.  Upon mouseover only on the bottom menu items, the page jumps up to the top before I can click on the menu item to select it.
http://www.tsgusa.com/test_bottommenujumper.htm
I need to create a longer page but as soon as I place the bottom menu below the browser bar, the jumping behavior occurs.
This did not happen with the same menu done in the java menu genre.
Using more recent version of menu pro.  Attached relevant files.

Hello,

This behavior is caused by a feature in the keyboard navigation that in this case turned into a bug. You can temporarily correct it by moving the ULLI code into the div where the menu will actually be positioned.

In the meantime I have forwarded this to our developers and I expect the issue to be permanently fixed in the library in the next release. I will let you know as soon as the permanent fix is online.
