Hello,
I saw your offer in Giveaway of the day. Is there a way to use one of your products to create a menu that I can make one edit and all web pages will be updated to the change? So I don't have to edit the menu file on all 15 pages.
Thanks
Ron

Dear Ron,
Yes. If you use AllWebMenus, every time you make a change you will need to:
1) open your menu project in AllWebMenus and make your changes
2) hit the “Compile” button
3) upload the compiled files online
This will automatically update all the linked pages.
(Note that you need to Link to your pages once, only the first time that you add the menu.)

I am trying to upload my first menu to my wordpress site. I keep getting the error that I am uploading the incorrect filename. I have version 1.1.14 of the plugin, I am being asked for awmmenu1.zip but the generated file is awmmenu.zip.
I looked this up in the knowledge base but it said that the fix was to use version 1,1,14 of the plugin which I already have.
Do I just rename the file or what?
Bruce

Hello Bruce,
Just make sure that the menu name that you have online (you can edit this name yourself) is the same with the "Compiled Menu Name" of your project.

Good Morning,
I am having trouble with a web site that uses All Web Menus not displaying properly on iPads and iPhones. I have tried in the past to update the site to a current version of the AWM that supports this type of devices. However, when we view the site on these types of devices, we just see a blank space on the left side of the page where the menu should be.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Scott

Dear Scott,
I checked your site and the problem is indeed that you are using an older version. In this site you are using build 664 and in “{URL REMOVED}” for example you are using build 884 (which fully supports iPad/iPhone etc.).

Kostas

Thanks, Kostas. Can you please give me a few steps I need to take to update this site? I think I’ve opened and edited this menu in the past using the 884 build. Is there a file I can copy from one site to the other? Or is there another way you’d recommend to update the site?
Thanks,
Scott

Dear Scott,
Just open the menu project with build 884 (or newer), Compile the menu and upload the “menu.js” and “awmdata” folder.

My AllWebMenus 5 Pro doesn't work in Windows Explorer 9.
I can see the menu in google Chrome. What can I do?

Hello,
Your menu is currently not visible in any browser because you did not upload the “awmdata” folder which contains all the library files!

Hi Kostas,
I solved the problem. The menu is probably made in a earlier time with an earlier version of AllWebMenus.
I opened the menu and saved it again. Than uploaded it and the problem was solved and I can see the menu in IE9
Best regards,
Teun

Initial Email Subject: menu shows on desktop but not on server
Support Case Month: December 2012
I just finished creating two separate menus using the same template. The menus are in separate sub-folders in a folder names "Scripts"
The "Ladies" menu (the lowest one) works fine, however the "Navigation" menu cannot be seen.
I have checked and recompiled this menu several times and relinked it a couple of times but nothing.
They both work well on my desktop but not on the server. I have checked to make sure the files are actually on the server.
Any ideas?
Frank

Dear Frank,
Are you sure you uploaded the files properly? I tried viewing the “Webpage_Navigation.js” file online and I get a 404 (missing page) error.

Hi
Thanks for your prompt reply. This may be one for the books.
When I looked up the folder where the menu existed using CPanel all the required files were there including the .js file.
I moved the menu around on my template page and it did not work at any of the locations.
I deleted the entire folder on the site and uploaded it again.
Now it works. Apparently the file was corrupted during the original upload
Something to remember.
Thanks again
Frank
