I'm trying to use a custom font for the navigation menu called "Neutraface Condensed Titling", which is what the logo in the top left of the page is done with. I read the two knowledgebase posts about custom fonts, but do not have the syntax correct to apparently get this font to load. Please check the URL, and see the reference to the font in the css file at:

/css/styles.css

Also, on my local PC they are viewable, but looked a bit bitmapped/jagged. Why does the font not look better? I'm feeling like I need to create images of these, so they look cleaner/clearer, but that should not be the case.

Thanks,
Alexi

Dear Alexi,

In order for your Custom Fonts to work, they must be available online so that they can be downloaded to any browser viewing your site.

This is done with Web-Fonts, such as Google Fonts. You cannot upload a custom font that you have in your PC (e.g. in Photoshop or Corel).

First of all because it is very tricky technically (and requires full access to the server) and secondly because their license would never allow this…

If you are using a Web Font, then make sure that it is properly included in your page (try it with a simple <div> that uses the font). If it works there it will also work in the menu without doing anything else.

Kostas

Initial Email Subject: Cursor showing up on top image
Support Case Month: December 2012

Not real sure how to explain this, but how do you keep the cursor (hand) from appearing on the top image. For instance on the URL I included, I want the cursor to appear on the image HOME, TESTIMONIALS, and CONTACT US, but I don't want it to appear on the image ABOUT US and SERVICES, but do want it to appear on the drop down menus below the image ABOUT US and SERVICES.
Right now it appears on ABOUT US and SERVICES, but if you tired clicking on those 2 images, it doesn't do anything.
I just want the drop downs to have the cursor appear.
Of course the cursor would show up on HOME, TESTIMONIALS, and CONTACT US, because it needs to there.
Hope that makes sense. Is this even possible?
Thanks, Pat

Hello Pat,

Don't you have the "Cursor" property set to "Auto"?

menu cursor property

If yes, then this will be done automatically, provided that you have no "Link" value on these 2 items.

Here is the "QUICK HELP" content for the "Cursor" property:

Specifies a different cursor to be shown when the mouse passes over the Item. The "Auto" value displays a "hand" cursor when any of the following properties are not blank (have a value) on their Mouse Click state: <Link>, <Javascript Command>, <Open Modal Window>.

Hi,

I’d like to know if I can embed  an accordion inside a modal Windows, and if so, how can I do it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Cordialmente,
Germán

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Dear Germán,

In order to do this, you need to create a separate HTML page that will have the accordion, then load this into the modal as «external url»:

Initial Email Subject: Preview web page upon mouseover
Support Case Month: May 2012

Hello Support:

I am looking for a script (more like your tooltip script) that does the following:

When I mouseover a link, it shows a preview image of the web page. You should also be able to click on that same link to be transferred to that web page.

Please go to http://www.codecanyon.net and mouseover their images. You see a preview of the web page and then can also click on it to go to that page. Can the tooltip script do this? Do you have a script that can do this?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

What you describe (showing a preview of the linked site) would be possible only through an online service that does this (taking screenshots of all sites out there). A service that can do this for example is “thumbalizr.com”. Using their API along with our Tooltips you can achieve the desired effect.

Also note, that having the sites as screenshot images will likely work faster than using a real online screenshot service (but then again, you’ll need to make a screenshot for each link manually).

Hello Kostas:

Thank you for your response:

To manually insert an image as a preview is fine.  However, can the Tooltips or any of the Likno scripts do a mouseover (to preview the image) and also have the capability to click on the link to go to that page. It appears that two actions (mouseover and click) have to be available to do what CodeCanyon does.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Of course! With Tooltips, you can show the tooltip on mouse-over and the link will work normally.

Note that these are standard page links with images in them. You do not need an extra script to make the link work. The tooltip is the only thing on top of a standard link.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,
If you refer to IE9, it is possible that you are using a very old version of AllWebMenus that did not support it.
Please send me the URL so that I can check your page and tell you what is wrong for sure.

Hello

Here is a url to the website  http://www.hdprint.pl/test/pl/

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello again,

It appears that the menu on your website was compiled with an *old* version of AllWebMenus (see “release history” here: http://www.likno.com/whatsnew.html ).

You need to update/upgrade your AllWebMenus and re-compile/re-upload your menu files, as the *old* compiled menu cannot support the latest browsers and standards. Some browser versions did not even exist by that time (e.g. IE9 was officially released in March 2011 and Safari 5 in June 2011 and both have known issues with your AllWebMenus version which was released in April 2010).

How?

- Login to your Likno User Area at http://www.likno.com/userarea

- Click the "View/Manage Licenses and Plans":

view manage menu licenses

- See there if your Update Plan has expired or not.

If "expired" then click the "Renew" link and renew your Update Plan.

- Download the current Version (Build) ( http://www.likno.com/download.html ) and install it.

- In your Likno User Area, click the "Get Activation Code" link and get a new Activation Code for this updated installation:

get activation code

- Open your old project file (.awm) in AllWebMenus, re-compile it and then upload the new menu files (along with the "awmdata" folder) to your website.

Note that you may need to delete your browser’s Temporary Internet Files (or cache files) before refreshing the page in order to see the menu.

Thanks!

Kostas
