Upgraded Accordion Builder on new machine, got activation code (which wouldn't paste in by the way, I had to enter it manually). Why can't I specify the target URL in Project Properties so it shows up online? It shows fine on localhost, however localhost/IPs... indicates trial mode, which it shouldn't, I paid for it.

Thanks,
Art

Hello Art,

According to the paste issue, is there any chance that you have Webroot Secure and it blocks the paste in our software?

You may want to read that blog post: http://www.likno.com/blog/unable-to-paste-in-likno-builders/4541/

Did you get a new Activation Code when you allocated the yourdomain.com domain?

If not, then you should get a new Activation Code so that it applies the changes and you will be able to see this domain in the Project Properties when you try to Compile your project.

You should choose that domain and compile your project.

Please, let me know if I can be of further help.

Thank you.

It worked. Sure enough, Webroot Secure was denying liknowebaccordianactivationtool.exe. Good call. I allowed Protection for the file on Webroot Secure, got a new activation code and it all worked like it’s supposed to.

Thanks a million,
Art

Support Case Month: February 2014

Hello,

how can i change font properties like color, size, type, decoration, etc. of hyperlinks on accordion menus, both on closed panes and on pane bodies?

Thanks.

Mehdi

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Mehdi,

You can customize all of that properties for Accordion Headers in Style Editor tab -> Pane Headers.

You can set some common styling properties for all the headers by clicking "Pane Headers Common CSS" and then you can set extra styling properties for each of the states (Pane Closed, Pane Closed – Mouse Over, Pane Open, Pane Open – Mouse Over)

web accordion CSS properties

Clicking on the above areas a CSS Editor window will appear in which you can select the properties you want on the WYSIWYG CSS tab or add more hand coded CSS by clicking on the Hand Coded CSS tab.

Please, let me know if you need further help.

Thank you.

Thanks for responding quickly and sorry that i wasn't clear.

I had tried changing all of those parameters. they change everything except for color, size, and decoration of those links in the menu. I have even changed the font and background colors so i can see exactly which of those areas change attributes of the links but still none of the changes that i did to the font attribute changes the color, size, and decoration (unbold) the fonts of those links. i have attached the accordion file that i have put together for the following menu: {URL REMOVED}, can you tell me what i am missing please? thanks....

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Mehdi,

Those are links so they get the styling properties set for links in your page.

I would recommend you to give your links a class name, for example class="menuLink"

hyperlinks

Then in your CSS file you can define that class like in the following code:

hyperlink CSS

This way, you can define what CSS properties you want for the links in your accordion headers.

Note, when you change the above to your Accordion project you need to re-compile it and re-upload the produced files to your server.

Please, let me know if you need further help.

Thank you.

Initial Email Subject:  Web Accordion Display Issue
Support Case Month: September 2013

Greetings!  I have a problem with Web Accordion.  The issue is demonstrated on the following page:  {URL REMOVED}.  I am seeking your assistance to know if this is a bug vs. something that I’m doing by somehow badly coding.

Walking past a co-worker's desk (using XP and IE 8), it would appear that:

1. An HTML bullet within an accordion pane appears to have become its own pane, and has replaced the separator (below in #2)

2. The separator that was between the 3rd and 4th pane has disappeared.

Using saucelabs.com, I was able to look at this page with different browsers and was able to confirm the issue first-hand.  I was not able to view this issue at my desk using Windows 7 with both Chrome 29.0.1547.76 m and IE 10.0.9200.16686

This is how it is supposed to look:
jquery accordion preview

Instead, the Web Accordion looks like this:

faulty jquery accordion preview

Thank you for your help!
Todd

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Todd,

Well, this happens because you have some extra </li> that you don’t need and as Internet Explorer is more strict in rendering content you see that problem there.

In order to correct that, you need to remove the 2 </li> shown in the screenshot below. Then, recompile your project and re-upload the produced files.

remove wrong code

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

my question is if sometime you will make your apps for mac os in a native way inter using a virtual windows?

thanks

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Raul,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately the installation file is available only for Windows.

However, our MAC customers use third-party software for emulation, without any problems reported so far.

Here are all your options to run Windows applications on an Intel-powered Mac:
