Could you help me determine why Version 2 is not displaying for the ULR above when my browser window is resized?  Versions 1 and 3 show up.

I thank you kindly.

Todd

Hello Todd,

First, let me apologize for being late on my response.

As it seems you have positioned the menu version 2 relative to an element with
ID="lkc_pws_master_menu" but there is not an element with that ID in your page.
Please, either change the menu positioning in AllWebMenus version2 for your menu version 2
(you could have it relative to lkc_FEA_master_menu as you have the other 2 versions)
or add this element in your page.
Please, let me know if I can be of further help.

Kind Regards,

Aggelos Tsakonas

Initial Email Subject: Place Tabs in footer, and have the tabs open upward!
Support Case Month: April 2014

Hi,

I am trying to build a page, which had a fixed header and footer. I have inserted a menu at the top, as part of the header! Perfect.

What I also want to do is have Tabs fixed at the bottom of the page and when a user clicks a tab, have the tab open upwards, instead of downwards from a header tab.

Is this possible, and if so how?

Many thanks,
Simon

Hello Simon,

First, thank you for your purchase.

I have attached a tabs project (started from Example 26) and a test page. I have set the positioning element for the tab to be fixed and stay on bottom of the page. When you click the tabs the body of the tabs open upwards.

Please, let me know if I can be of further help.

Thank you.

Hi Aggelos,

Thank you for your prompt reply, I am seemingly having a problem adding your example into a page that I am going to use as the standard for my site, do you think you could help me as far as code placement.

The example you created is exactly what I was looking for, by the way!

I have attached a copy of the page to this email…. Sorry to be such a newbie, but this is new curve I am learning!

Many thanks,
Simon

Hello Simon,

I have attached the zip containing the file and the tab project. I have placed the tabs to be inside your black container.

If you add the following CSS code:

#liknotabs_positionID{
                      position:fixed;

bottom:0;
                }

Then, the tabs will be fixed to the bottom of the window.

Please, let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Support Case Month: February 2014

Is it possible to open a modal window with two links that when clicked would close the modal window and change the window location in the browser. For instance:

Use our phone site button: when clicked closes the modal window and changes the browser window to indexphone.htm

Use our main site button: when clicked closes the modal window and changes the browser window to index.htm

Thank you,
Sheldon

Hello Sheldon,

I think you can just have the link (without the closing) so when you click that it will open the page you want and the modal window will be closed.

Please, let me know how that worked for you.

Thank you.

Hi Aggelos,

Works perfect although I have no idea why since there is no code that says to close the modal widow or to open these links in the parent window. I assume that these functions are built into your (awesome) script. My sample is at {URL REMOVED}. I will be implementing it in a month or so.

As always thank you for the great tech support,

Sheldon

Hello Sheldon,

Glad to see it works as you wanted Smile

You just use the link so when you click it the page you want will be opened thus the modal window will be closed, that's why you don't need anything extra to close the modal window.

Thank you.

Hi
The problem of links not highlighting, only occurs when the modal window
covers the trigger button, so is dependent on screen resolution as well.

Hello Graham,

You may want to add Hover CSS for your img with id="Image1"

CSS properties

You could add in your CSS file

#Image1:hover { Cursor:pointer; }

This way, no matter what, when you mouse over this image you will have the pointer cursor.

In Chrome though it works for me.

Support Case Month: October 2013

All the modal windows in one of my websites suddenly stopped working! The windows are in different parts of the website, and many have different master pages. All have separate wmw and js files. When I click on a link for a window, a new windows explorer (or firefox) just pops up. I have tried to re-compile some of them, and uploaded again, but no luck. It’s all in Norwegian, but you can try it out here: {URL REMOVED}

Have you heard of something like happen before? And of course, a solution would be helpful Smile

Attached is the wmw file for the window that will select the profile picture.

Thank you,
Gus

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Gus,

This happens because you have an older modal project than the modal lib you use.

Please, download re-compile your modal projects with the latest version of Likno Web Modal Windows Builder and then you need to re-upload all the produced files to your server.

Note, remember to clear your browser cache, also.

Thank you!
