AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #772 released

- New Sliding Menu Add-in version (v1.0.3): Added support for also opening sliding submenus on "mouse over" of parent item (not only on "mouse click").

- Sliding Menu Add-in: Added an option to ignore the <Link> property of parent items of sliding submenus when clicking on them so that the submenus open instead of loading a page. However, if you wish you may achieve both effects by unchecking this option while having the "Remember the menu state" option checked.

- 1 new Sliding Menu Theme Pack available in Theme Gallery.

- Sliding Menu Add-in: Fixed an issue where a sliding submenu did not reposition itself when the user resized the browser window.

- Sliding Menu Add-in: Fixed an issue where a sliding submenu did not unfold properly when a reposition of the main menu occurred.

- Sliding Menu Add-in: Fixed an issue on Opera only where the Background Image was not properly positioned.

- New versions of Server-Side Menus API Add-in (2.0.13), Joomla Add-in (1.1.5), Wordpress Add-in (1.0.8) released, to include the above features.

- Improved the Joomla Component (v1.1.5) in order to avoid error messages when the zip file could not unpack.

- Fixed an issue with the IE8 library, which now makes the menus appear much faster than the previous library did.

- Fixed an issue on Opera browser with the size of items and groups, when a "Has Submenu" image exists.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #770 released

- Full support of the Internet Explorer 8 Final version.

- Fixed an issue related to the previous Build, when AllWebMenus was already installed in the PC. The message "It looks like you have an incompatible version of Server-Side Menus API installed" appeared by mistake.

- Fixed an issue with separator in horizontal menus if only one separator color had been set.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #768 released

- Fixed a Mozilla-related issue where a background image was not appearing correctly when a "left" image also existed.

- Fixed an Opera-related issue with text misalignment when the "HTML Full Mode" option was used on a menu item.

- Fixed a minor Mozilla/Opera related issue with the "Push (or Pull)" technique on sliding menus.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #766 released

- The Sliding Menu Add-in (extra license required) released with Build 766 and included in the distribution. You can now create menus with sliding submenus, otherwise known as "slide menus", "expandable menus", "collapsible menus" or "accordion menus".
Note that every submenu group has its own <Type> property. Therefore, you can have a menu that contains both drop-down submenus and sliding submenus!

- Fixed a Mozilla-related issue with the <Item Image> property. If it was set as "Image Only" (i.e. no item text exists), the image was misaligned to the left.

- Fixed an issue with the 'awmSelectedItem' feature when the menu was of the "Menubar" type and the user resized the browser window.

- Fixed a Mozilla-related issue where a menu of the "Menubar" type could trigger a vertical scrollbar on special cases.

- Fixed an issue where the menu appeared wider than it should if a "Has "Submenu Image"existed on its first item.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #764 released

- A 3rd style (Style+) is now available for all submenus and items of 3rd level and beyond. This allows for many new interesting capabilities, like different appearance on last submenus, advanced behavior on sliding menus and more!

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #762 released

- Added a new "Copy & Paste Values to Items/Groups" option, which acts as a quick shortcut to the copy/paste functionality.

- Fixed an IE5.5 issue regarding the width and height of png images, which were not calculated correctly.

- Fixed an issue when copying & pasting an item/subgroup of "Hidden" status; the pasted item/subgroup was shown as "Visible" instead of "Hidden".

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #760 released

- New 110 bullets/arrows are added to the Image Gallery. Most of them (down arrows) are created to accommodate the new "Sliding Menu" feature that is under construction (to be released in build 764).

- Javascript code has been enhanced so that submenus are built on the fly instead of during the initial menu loading. This method results in faster menus.

- The images of the menu are now pre-loaded so that they are shown immediately when a submenu appears. Note: All images still need some time to be loaded during the initial load of the web page.

- Fixed an issue in Mozilla-based browsers, where a menu was displayed collapsed
the first time that the page was accessed. The bug appeared only in "Server-Side API" related implementations.

- New sophisticated wizard added for locating the missing images in a project (occurring when the project files are not relocated properly).

- Fixed an issue with the "awmRelativeCorner" parameter that was not included inside the menu.js file as it should (certain cases only).

- New compile option added: The "Place dot.gif in" option, which allows the menu to function on rare server environments that require separate folders for javascripts and images. Read more

- Fixed an issue where the right image of an item (if used) did not appear properly (on Gecko browsers and some cases only).

- The Server-Side Menus API Add-in is now on version 2.0.9: Fixed an incompatibility between the API javascripts and MooTools (if used on your website).

- The WordPress Menu Add-in is now on version 1.0.4: It is now based on the new version 2.0.9 of the Server-Side Menus API Add-in (see above).

- Fixed an issue where the vertical scrollbar did not appear correctly in GUI when the user maximized the window.

- Fixed an issue that caused an error on Window Unload in IE (certain cases only).

- Fixed a Gecko-related issue where the image was taking more space in height than it should, when doctype was other than loose.

- Fixed an issue with horizontal menus, where the width of the items was wider when at least one item had a submenu image (IE for Windows).

- Fixed an issue where a scrollbar appeared in Mozilla/Firefox/Safari browsers when it should not (certain cases only).

- The "File -> Export Project" functionality now provides an option to open the folder where the menu has been exported (for immediate access to the exported project files).

- Fixed a Mozilla-based issue for menus that contain one or more spaces on their filenames (not a good web practice anyway).

- Fixed a Mozilla-based issue for menus that use the vertical scrollbar feature. The group was appearing wider every time the vertical scrollbar appeared.

- Added the <Automatic Item Highlight> feature, which specifies whether an Item whose property matches the URL of the loaded web page will be highlighted by default.

- An asterisk (*) is now added next to filename on the Titlebar when changes to the project have been made.

- Fixed a Firefox issue with menus using the "Menu Floats on Scroll" feature. In some cases the menu did not appear on the page.

- Fixed an issue with item margins occurring on Netscape only (old browser).

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #744 released

- New feature on <Type> property: "Scroll on Mouse Over" can now be used (in addition to the normal scrollbar option) when the contents of a submenu are larger than its height.
This allows for smooth scrolling of the submenu contents automatically, "on mouse over" rather than having to click on a scrollbar. See example

 

 

- Fixed the moving behavior of movable menus for IE and Mozilla browsers.

- Fixed a problem in GUI when the Refresh button was clicked while in "Style Editor" Tab and then the "Menu Editor" Tab was clicked immediately.

AllWebMenus Pro version 5.1 Build #742 released

- Added the “Compile Menu with No Dialogs (F8)” menu command for faster compilation process (no dialogs appear unless absolutely necessary).

- Improved the speed of loading all user fonts. AllWebMenus is now much faster, especially on systems with a large number of fonts.

- A new installer is now being used that solves certain installation-related issues for specific user settings. AllWebMenus could not run properly on those specific settings because of missing DLLs, OCXs, etc. Now fixed.

- Added the “Server-Side Menus API Help (pdf)” menu command for instant access to the API manual.

- Fixed a Mozilla-related issue where a menu could appear wider than expected when one of its items uses the <“Has Submenu” image> property.

- Improved the disappearance behavior of menus when the “Manual trigger Groups as popup menus” positioning method is used.

- Fixed an issue where a floating menu could not appear if the “Menu Floats on Scroll” property was used combined with the “Smooth, Horizontal” values.

- Fixed an Opera 9.5-related alignment issue of a menu’s “Left Image”.

- Fixed various issues related to dual monitor configurations. Code added to make the GUI visible in case it is outside of the screen. Dual monitors are now fully supported without glitches.

- Improved the AutoRedraw process by deactivating AutoRedraw from the Tab Control.

- Fixed a Frontpage Add-in related issue: the "Update Menu with latest Navigation Structure" option was hidden from the GUI in some cases.

- Improved the “Advanced Floating” form in the <Menu Drifts on Scroll> property.

- Added new menu commands: "Add Item Before Selected" and "Paste Item Before Selected" (previous versions only had “After Selected” commands).

- Fixed an issue with the "Save as" or "Export" commands, where a small .awm file (empty) was created instead of the valid one (on certain cases only).

- Fixed some interface issues on the <Header>/<Footer> application forms: the wrong cursor appeared and popup forms did not disappear correctly when moving from one property to another.
