Support Case Month: August 2012

Have just upgraded to a new computer WIN 7 32 bit. And upgraded Dreamweaver to CS6. I installed AWM version 5.3 build 870 (which is what I had from before) and dreamweaver extension for CS6.

When I open Dreamweaver to Birds Eye the AWM tool bar appears as before and the menu locator is where i used to be.

But when I select edit in AWM I get a message that it cannot locate AWM and to install it.

It is installed programs and features in the Control Panel and I see it in the tree of web pages in Dreamweaver. When I point AWM in the tree it tells me "cannot find."

If I double click the instance it opens up into edit mode.

How do I need to link it up or do I need to link it up -- can i just double click to edit it??

Dear Richard,

This happens because CS6 is newer than the AWM version you are using and it was not supported. CS6 was first supported in AWM build 890.

I see that you do have an active Update Plan in one of your licenses, so all you need to do is to download the latest AWM version here:
