Why Google Translate does not translate menu on my pages?

Dear Tomaz,

Google Translate cannot translate complex JavaScript components such as the menu. If you want to use Google Translate with your menu, please use the CSS menu genre.

Keep in mind however that if the translation text is larger than the original one, the text may bleed outside the menu buttons. The menu cannot automatically readjust itself to fit the translated text.

As such, I recommend setting an item width that is not marginal for your text.

I am a bit uninformed here
How to use / create / upload CSS menu genre
Does it mean I should change menu codes for all my 254 html's ?
Funny, but http://www.microsofttranslator.com works mostly fine with menu too

Hello again,

This happens because of the way Google works (posts things to its server and displays the page as an iframe). This way, Google translates everything BEFORE the menu is created, while Microsoft translates everything runtime.

I guess that any ULLI menu would work with Google (both JavaScript & CSS). To make your menu a ULLI menu you need to select the following option:

populate menu through ul li items

Then you need to add a UL/LI structure into each of your pages. If you have 254 pages then I strongly recommend that you add this in a single “include” file that will be added in all pages. This way it will be much easier to maintain the menu in the future.

For detailed into on how this works, click on the question-mark button & settings link.
