January 7th, 2013AWM: Menu appears much wider in IE9 than in other browsers
Knowledge Base support case for AllWebMenus, abstracted and stripped of all user’s private info.
Initial Email From: Virginia
Initial Email Subject: menu is longer in IE9 than in Firefox, Safari, Opera
Support Case Month: May 2012
I just updated, so I have the latest AllwebMenus software.
I've set the Menu Positioning to Relative to an Element:
awmAnchor-LuxeHomecare
The menus is about 828 pixels wide in all browsers except IE9.
In IE9, it's 849 pixels wide.
Can you help, please?
Thank you,
Virginia

Dear Virginia,
Sometimes this can happen due to the different way each browser renders fonts. The solution would be to remove the item (left & right) padding you have, and set the menu to have a minimum width of 825px.

Kostas
