I build 2 menus: main for all pages and a second one for a video page.

First one is working fine but second for video page is not showing.

Its a video submenu that should be above "Video Memoria 2011"

Hello,

Please note that the Anchor ID is case-sensitive:

menu position relative to element

Your menu name is “menu-Videos”, but in your page you have the following code:

menu name is case sensitive

Hello, we have released a new version of AllWebMenus Pro: Version 5.3 build #902.

Check out What's New

- New property: "Responsive Menu"
(for your responsive website designs or standard websites)

You can now choose your menu to show a different version of itself depending on screen size (width), in any of the following 3 ways:

- Different styling
- Different content
- Different positioning

Responsive Menu Example

- New property: "Visible When"
You can now use rules to specify whether your menu shows or not on page. This is useful when you want your menu to appear (or not appear) in special cases.

Menu Visible When

- New version for all Server-Side Menu APIs.

- Better support of IE10 for:
- Filters
- Opacity
- Header/Footer
- Menu alignment
- No-wrap words

- Fixed an issue with server-side menus, where the menu would not use the horizontal positioning offset.

- Fixed an issue where clicking on parent items in sliding menus did not work in non-IE browsers.

Through the Visible When feature you can specify the menu to show or not, based on rules that you set.

This is useful when you want your menu to appear (or not appear) in special cases.

Example:

You have 2 separate menu projects, one in English language (menu-en.js) and one in German language (menu-de.js), and your website is based on a CMS through which you link both menus to all pages.

You want the English menu to show on the English pages of the website (eg: http://www.mysite/en/page1.html) while the German one on the respective German pages (eg: http://www.mysite/de/page1.html).

This is how you can do this:

On the English menu project (menu-en.js) you set the following condition:

Menu Visible When English

On the German menu project (menu-de.js) you set the following condition:

Menu Visible When German

In that way only one of the two linked menus appear on the web page, depending on the page's language implied by the URL.

Note that you can also use regular expressions in the matching string.

When i link my menu to my index page, it is not publishing.  I can usually see it in the upper lefty hand corner of the page but it does not appear.

Dear Bob,

I just checked your page and the menu does appear and work normally.

Do you still not see the menu? If so, which browser are you using?

Also please make sure that you deleted your Temporary Internet Files (or “cache” files).

Kostas

The menu is not transferring to my website.  When I preview it in the browser, it is correct.  However when I upload to my site, changes do not appear.

Example:  On the Basketball Link, I spelled Basketball incorrectly.  I changed the spelling on the menu generator, compiled it, previewed it and it shows that it was corrected.  However when I try to publish it, the correction is not made.  Can you check to see that all the settings are accurate.

Dear Bob,

It sounds like the problem is in the uploading process. Can you please confirm that you are uploading the correct files to the correct place?

Before uploading the compiled “menu.js”, please open it in Notepad and check if the file is indeed corrected:

some menu code

Then upload the file, and load it again in Firefox (or any browser except IE):

Hello,

I just tested your site and I see both menus working fine in all browsers! Did you maybe forget to delete your browser’s “cache files”?

Hi Costas,
Thanks for that. After I compiled all my menus and cleared the cache it worked fine.
