Hi can you help.
I am starting to use the Likno Modal Windows Builder.
Can you tell me what are the essential files I need to update each time I make a change.
At the moment I am updating all of the likno-scripts and also a folder called MENU.
Is this correct? Are there others?
Can I update less as it seems that likno scripts updates many of the assets over and over again - using resources and taking time. With your menu builder all I do is update the menu.js
Sorry to be a bother.
Regards
Mark

Dear Mark,

The Modal Window builder generates the “likno-scripts” folder. Within this folder, there should be three files and a folder:

likno-modal-lib.js
likno-modal-project.js
jquery.js
and “likno-modal-project” folder

If you make simple changes that do not involve changing the images used, then updating only “likno-modal-project.js” should suffice.

If you also change the images used, then you need to upload the “likno-modal-project” folder.

If you install a new Modal Window builder version, make sure you also update the “likno-modal-lib.js”.

(the concept is similar to uploading the “awmdata” folder if you update the menu or change its images)

Can I change the color of the button with a particular group, say chocobuttons. Sometimes I want how the button looks, but the color does not work with the web site.

If this can be done, but I missed the link...just send me the link.

Thanks,
Mike

Hello Mike,

these buttons are images, so you need to edit these images in your favorite image editor (Photoshop, etc.). So find their location in your local drive (click on them to go to the Image Assets for them), change their colors in your image editor and you are done.

Hello,

I have tried to create my first Modal window with the software I purchased but it does not work. I am not sure if I am doing something wrong or if there is a bug in the software. The Assets directory and the Gallery directory are both empty after I link the Modal window to a page. What I am assuming is that this software will build out the HTML form as well as the code to link to it in the Modal window. Am I missing something?

Thanks

Jim

Dear Jim,

I checked your page and the only thing missing was a link in your page to trigger the modal window.

For example, please try adding the following in your page:

<a href="#" onclick="Modal_Window_1()">click me</a>
