When are licenses renewed, annually or when?

Hello Joe,

When you initially purchase you can choose the duration of your Update Plan. The default period is 1 year (if you do not choose a longer period which gives you some discount).

Just note that the "Update Plan" is not a "subscription" that is "required" to continue using the product. You can renew any time you need to get the new features or fixes but you can still use the latest Build that your Update Plan permits.

Hi

I installed the awmenu on the following site :

www.bjcole.co.uk

It has recently stopped working in Safari.

I have downloaded the latest version I am able to : (5.3 #846)

It works ok in Firefox / Chrome.

Is this an issue with your script - or - do I need a newer build ?

Thanks

Graeme

Dear Graeme,

It appears that the menu on your website was compiled with an *old* version of AllWebMenus (see “release history” here: http://www.likno.com/whatsnew.html ).

You need to update/upgrade your AllWebMenus and re-compile/re-upload your menu files, as the *old* compiled menu cannot support the latest browsers and standards. Some browser versions did not even exist by that time (e.g. Safari was officially released in June 2011).

How?

- Login to your Likno User Area at http://www.likno.com/userarea

- Click the "View/Manage Licenses and Plans":

user area

- See there if your Update Plan has expired or not.

If "expired" then click the "Renew" link and renew your Update Plan.

- Download the current Version (Build) ( http://www.likno.com/download.html ) and install it.

- In your Likno User Area, click the "Get Activation Code" link and get a new Activation Code for this updated installation:

menu activation

- Open your old project file (.awm) in AllWebMenus, re-compile it and then upload the new menu files (along with the "awmdata" folder) to your website.

Note that you may need to delete your browser’s Temporary Internet Files (or cache files) before refreshing the page in order to see the menu.

Thanks!

Hi

Thanks for your quick response.

To confirm -

1. The build I’m using (#846) is the issue - and your script is now compatible with Safari 5 ?

2. If I purchase the current build (#890) - will I need any additional ‘add-ins’ to make my menu visually work as on the site - www.bjcole.co.uk ?

3. I am currently mostly developing Drupal 7 websites .. and now see there is an add-in for that - I will be using that too.

4. As a long term user having to re-purchase - is there any other ‘offer’ or Discount Code available ?

Looking forward to your response

Graeme

Dear Graeme,

1) Yes, our old version had the issue, and the latest version of AllWebMenus fully supports all the latest browsers including Safari 5.

2) No, you do not need any extra add-ins for this menu. You will only need an extra add-in if you want a “Sliding” (aka “Accordion”) menu.

3) Glad to hear this. You can download the Drupal module and read instructions in the following page:

http://www.likno.com/addins/drupal-menu.html

4) Yes! You should not re-purchase (this would cost $59.95). Instead you should login to your User Area account and “Extend” your “Update Plan”. This will cost you only $29.95 for one year of free updates (with more discount if you want more years)

Let me know if you do not remember your login details or need more help.
