One more question on this. Sometimes we want to have PDFs showing up in the lower frame and of course we then still want the submenus to overlap the pdf. How do I do that? I tried to create a link directly to the PDF but  that did not work. 

Please advise.

Dear Clas,

I am afraid that this is not possible. The PDF files (as well as Word or Excel files) are using plugins that fully take over the browser and there is no way to show anything on top of them.

The only thing that could work (but I am not sure if it is cross-browser) is if you did not have frames, and instead you used a single HTML page with an iframe in the place of the bottom frame.

I really like the program.I am now setting up a menu structure that contains almost 400 items. A search feature would REALLY be nice for use  in creating a menu structure.

You can also edit the items in EXCEL by using the following feature:

Just give it a try, it is good for hundreds of items.

We wanted to let you know that we have released new versions of AllWebMenus Pro: Version 5.3 builds #848 and #846.

Check out What's New:

- Added support for showing the Header and Footer in Joomla/WordPress/Drupal (server-side API) menus.

- Added minor interface enhancements and fixes.

- Fixed an issue where the the menu could not show properly if a 'line-height' style value was used for the whole document.

- Fixed an issue with the 'Auto Highlight' feature that occurred when a URL contained spaces.

- Fixed an issue for Mozilla browsers (only), where a group with a 'Has Submenu' image could show wider than it should.
