Unless I'm missing it, here's an idea for your menu program (which by the way I love). You currently have a way to choose the space between items. But, how about a way to insert an image between items?
If you look at the URL I listed, you can see a menu I made (the old fashion hard way) and the items have a diamond shape between them.
I know you have a background image (2) function that's right justified. But, that's not really going to work for me because I want to center the text on the remaining blank area to the left.

Let me know what you think or if I'm missing a feature that's already like this.

Thanks,
Steve

Hello Steve, I see what you mean.

It could be possible if we enhance the "Has Separator" property to also have images, etc.

Oops! Forgot to include the image of the menu…

Never say never…

Here's a menu I started and put a diamond object between the menu items.

What I did was float the image to the right center then use the "x" offset to push it out past the menu button for the width of the diamond.

Then I set the distance between menu items to same distance as the offset.

I had to play a little with the padding to center the text.

It's still not perfect but, I bet I could get it to work with a little more playing around.

Brilliant! We love having smart customers that can explore different implementation methods on our products. We are glad that we have many features that can be combined to help in such cases but still it requires a smart user to unleash the possibilities. Well done!

Is there any way to have the menu scale to fit the various screen resolutions e.g. desktops, laptops, netbooks, smartphones? I'm currently working on a website that uses CSS to scale the elements whenever the window is resized. Unfortunately this has no affect on the horizontal menu I created and put inside a DIV tag. I hope there is some way this can be accomplished and any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I know very little about Java Script and I'm a novice with CSS

Hello,

I am afraid it is not possible to change the menu with CSS rules like you do for the rest of the page, as the menu is a complex JavaScript control.

The only thing you can do is to set the menu as “menubar” in which case it will always stretch to cover the full length of the browser. Still, if the browser window is smaller, the menu will stay big and float outside the page.
