Hello,
Can you give me some insight as to why the menu on our home page is overlapping other objects? Again, if I put it in compatibility mode, it looks as it should.

Hello Annette,
This is because your menu is floating and the <td> where you positioned it is not tall enough to fit it. Also since you do not have a valid DOCTYPE, each browser displays this a bit differently (for example in Firefox it looks perfect).
The easiest/fastest solution is probably to make the menu change the height of its positioning element:

I,m having trouble keeping the menu at a fixed position. The menu is linked relative to the navbar div, and this div is set to fixed position at the top of the page, under the header area which also has a fixed position div assigned to the header. Like so
<div id="wrapper">
<div id="header"></div> (fixed position)
<div id="navbar"><span id='awmAnchor-topmenu'> </span></div> (fixed position)
<div id="sidebar"></div>
<div id="content"><?php include "system/contentload.php";?></div>
<div id="sidebar"></div>
<div id="footer"></div>
</div>
So when you scroll, the header and navbar stays in fixed position but the menu scrolls out of its navbar div container.
I cant give you a link I,m working in wamp.
Help would be sincerely appreciated.

Dear Rick,
Please try using AllWebMenus “Menu Floats on Scroll” feature:

Hi,
Again, kudos on a fine product and excellent service!
I thought I'd let you know that when I view our accordion menu on an I-pod, the text in the header becomes larger forcing the menu to become longer vertically and blocking the area below it (see attachment).
If you do happen to have a fix for this, please let me know - thanks

Dear Rich,
I guess that this is due to the way iPod renders the fonts…
You can easily avoid the problem if you choose to “have the accordion as “embedded” instead of “floating”.
This way, if for some reason the accordion is bigger than you anticipated it will just “push” the rest of the content a bit lower instead of hiding it.

Finally, I noticed that you have not closed the positioning element:

I remember you also did this with AllWebMenus some time ago. Please remember to close all the elements in your page:
<div id="accordion"> </div>

Menu works using all browsers except Internet Explorer. I have tried using different styles of vertical menus with no success. I am lost.
Separate issue. If I use the Floating aspect, cell phone user can't keep it in their windows it is always just below where they can use it

Hello,
Regarding the IE issue, the problem is most likely that your Menu Linking Code is not right after the <body> tag as it should be, but instead it is within other page tags.
If you cannot move the Linking Code to directly under the <body> tag, then please check the following option in the AllWebMenus Project Properties to resolve the problem:

Regarding the floating issue, when you choose for the menu to be floating it will always stay to the same position relative to the browser window.
You placed your menu far from the top and the screen height of most phones is too small, hence the menu is not visible to start with, and with the “floating” feature selected it will always stay there. The solution is to position the menu closer to the top, or even better to not use the floating feature. Consider that your menu may be taller than the screen height of some phones, so if it cannot be scrolled it will never be fully visible to the user.

Kostas

I would like to use AllWebMenus on a Word Press site and want to double check a couple things before purchasing. Does AllWebMenus PRO
- include the Floating Images functionality?
- require any downloads other than AllWebMenus PRO to successfully install on WordPress?
- have unlimited licenses?
Thanks!! Keaty
Reply From: Likno Customer Support
Hello Keaty,
Yes, the standard license includes the floating images functionality. The only thing it does not include is "sliding menus" (which are pretty interesting) and "advanced floating menus" (which you probably don't need).
By unlimited licenses, I believe you mean that it is good for unlimited domains (so you can use it in unlimited websites). This is indeed true.
For WordPress, apart from the main application, you should also download and use the special plugin we developed:
