Hi,

I am trying to activate my AWM5.2 Build #792 that I just downloaded from your website (the most recent build that I am entitled to).

The installation id is: {INSTALLATION ID REMOVED}

The error that is shown is:
"It appears that you are trying to activate an Unknown Installation using a version 5 Pro License."

Please help me to get the compilation working.

Best Regards,
Daniel

Dear Daniel,

Are you sure that this is all the Installation ID? It seems that you are missing 8 characters.

This could be a registry issue, so my recommendation is to try resetting the registry. To do this, please:

1) open the windows Registry Editor by writing “regedit” in the “start->run”:

2) find and delete the following key (from the tree on the left hand side):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Likno Software\AllWebMenus

3) Run AllWebMenus again. This time you should have a new Installation ID.

4) If the new Installation ID is still as small as your current one, please try running AllWebMenus “as administrator”.

Best Regards,
Kostas

Hi Kostas,

Thanks for your prompt reply!

I couldn't find the key in the registry but when I run the program as administrator the id wasn't truncated.

So now it works. 🙂
Thanks for a great application and support!

Best Regards,
Daniel

Initial Email Subject: My version of All Web Menu is not activating
Support Case Month: March 2012

Hi,

I have used this product for the last 2 years on a couple of websites I have.  My computer crashed and I had to reinstall all my software.  I installed the version that I was eligible to install, entered the Installation ID  {INSTALLATION ID REMOVED} then received the activation code.  After entering the code, it said that i was fine, but then when I go to use it, it said it was not activated.  I have closed the program and tried a couple times, and even restarted my computer and it is still not working.   HELP.  What should I do.

Please let me know what I should do to get this resolved.

Thanks!!!!

Hello,

Did you install a newer version before reverting to your old one? Please try fully deleting AllWebMenus and then installing the older version again. Let me know if this fixed the problem (you should require a new Activation Code, and your Installation ID should change to something starting with “UE”).

Regards,
Kostas

After you have installed your AllWebMenus Pro application, you need to activate it in order to get the full functionality; otherwise it will be in trial mode!

To activate AllWebMenus Pro you need to get an Activation Code based on the Installation ID of your application. To get an Activation Code, you have to log in to your Likno User Area account and click on the related link of the AllWebMenus section (see the image below):

Then you will be directed to a page where you will have to choose your license and enter the Installation ID so as to get the Activation Code. Please make sure that you have chosen the correct license, namely the license whose the Installation ID you are using (see the image below). If  you try to get an Activation Code for a license different from the installed one you will get an error message which will inform you that your installation is not valid and you will not be able to activate your application.

To get your Installation ID and enter it in the input field (see image above), you have to go to "Help -> Enter Activation Code" menu of your AllWebMenus application.

This is where you will also paste the Activation Code (that you got from the online page) and click the Activate button (see image below):

Well done! This successfully activates your AllWebMenus installation.

Note: You must have "full" admin rights to be able to activate your application. Such rights are not required for working with AllWebMenus, they are needed only for the activation process. So, if a Windows popup appears you need to allow AllWebMenus to make changes (this gives "full" admin rights).
