Accordion builder conflicts with other items that use jquery on development site we are building.

here is a page that works: {URL REMOVED}

And when we try and use the accordion builder, you will see what happens to the slider at the top of page compared to other pages:

{URL REMOVED}

Can you give suggest how to correct this.

Hello Glenn,

Please, change the following option in your Accordion project. Instead of using the first UL/LI structure found in the page select "UL/LI structure that uses this ID"

jquery accordion structure

Then, you need to re-compile your project and re-upload the produced files. Also, you need to change the UL/LI structure in your page.

Let me know how that worked.

That worked. I think that was about the only variation I did not use last night.

Thanks for your help.

Initial Email Subject: Number of panes allowed in Accordion Example
Support Case Month: October 2013

I have 27 panes for the 27 parishes in Cuenca.  However only 19 show up on my screen (26 inch) and I can't get to the rest.  I am not sure if even that many would show on a smaller screen.

1.  Is there a limit on the number of panes or did I leave something out?

2.  If there is a limit, can I put two accordions on the same page, eg vurbana and vurbana2 so that I do not have to do some kind of A to N and then another page with O to Z.

Thanks, Mike

Hello Mike,

You have checked to position your accordion relative to an element  and you have also checked the accordion to drift on page scroll. As the accordion is too long  this is not a good choice to have.

In order to correct that problem, please uncheck the "Accordion drifts on page scroll" and then you need to re-compile your project and re-upload the produced files.

jquery accordion positioning  settings

Also, note that in your page you have forgotten to close the positioning element:
<div id='liknoaccordion_positionID'/>&nbsp;</div>

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!

Thank you.
I suspect that most people that use your product are like me - more amateur than professional and in need of your assistance.
I just renewed a while back my licenses etc.  Best money I have spent.

Support Case Month: September 2013

Greetings!  I have a problem with Web Accordion.  The issue is demonstrated on the following page:  {URL REMOVED}.  I am seeking your assistance to know if this is a bug vs. something that I’m doing by somehow badly coding.

Walking past a co-worker's desk (using XP and IE 8), it would appear that:

1. An HTML bullet within an accordion pane appears to have become its own pane, and has replaced the separator (below in #2)

2. The separator that was between the 3rd and 4th pane has disappeared.

Using saucelabs.com, I was able to look at this page with different browsers and was able to confirm the issue first-hand.  I was not able to view this issue at my desk using Windows 7 with both Chrome 29.0.1547.76 m and IE 10.0.9200.16686

This is how it is supposed to look:
jquery accordion preview

Instead, the Web Accordion looks like this:

faulty jquery accordion preview

Thank you for your help!

Hello Todd,

Well, this happens because you have some extra </li> that you don’t need and as Internet Explorer is more strict in rendering content you see that problem there.

In order to correct that, you need to remove the 2 </li> shown in the screenshot below. Then, recompile your project and re-upload the produced files.

remove wrong code

Thank you!

Hello,

I have a request to integrate into the accordion pane headers in addition to the title clickable social media icons for facebook, linkedin and xing (on the left side to the position of the indicator image). Do you see any possibilities to do that?

Thanks and regards
Josef

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Josef,

You could do that, having the pane Header title you want and also some images.

You could have for example:

Header 2

<a style="margin-left:320px;" href="http://www.facebook.com">
      <img src="
http://careers.futurestep.com/sites/_web-templates/image-library/Social-Icons/email/facebook-email-icon.png" />
</a>

The result would be the following, so clicking on the facebook icon you go to the facebook page.

accordion header with facebook icon

Let me know if you need more information.

Thank you!
