Hello,

Do you mean that you want to have two menus in your page? if so, you just need to make sure that they have different "compiled menu names" under "Project Properties -> Folders".

Kostas

Dear Customer Support:

I want to use the menu into a Java project rather than a HTML page. Would you please provide me any learning material on how to corporate the likno menu into the JSP file? And in case in the menu linking, if I want to pass some parameter to some action, how can I do that?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards
Shen

Dear Shen,

There is no difference between Linking to an HTML file and a JSP file.

For passing parameters however, you would need to use some type of dynamic menu. There are a couple of ways to go about this:

1) You can use a UL / LI menu. This way, the actual menu structure is defined by a UL/LI structure in your page, and you can use your JSP to do whatever you want with it. You can read more about this here:

2) Use “Custom Variables”. With this method you need to create a JavaScript variable in your page (using JSP) before the menu Linking Code. Then in the menu item “link” property you can use this variable. To read more about this, while on the “text” or “link” property in AllWebMenus, press F1. Then go to the very bottom of the help page, and click on the “Custom Variables” link.

Dear Customer Service:

Today I'm using Web Tab Builder and got some strange problems.

I created a new project referring to example03b, the picture has exactly same size and preview worked correctly, but when I put the code into my JSP file and the strange thing happen. The first picture position is incorrect but the 2nd and 3rd pictures are correct, would you please tell me how to correct the problem? Please find the screenshot in attachment.

Many thanks,
Shenhao

Dear Shenhao,

I tested your site and it seems that the problem is caused by the jQuery UI tab you are using.

It seems that you are putting the Likno tab into another tab and this is affecting the way the Likno tab appears. If you leave the Likno tab directly into the page, it appears fine!

Dear Kostas:

Thanks for your help. I understand. BTW, is there any way to integrate LiknoTabs into other tools? Do you have any advices?

Thanks and best regards

Dear Shenhao,

What do you mean exactly? Do you want to put a Tab within other Likno programs? (e.g. within an Accordion, Modal Window or other Tab?)

If this is the case, the easiest/safest way to do this is to add it as “external url”. To do this you have to create a separate HTML page that has the Tab, and then use this as content for one of the other products.

If this is not what you asked me, then please explain in more detail, specifying the “other tools” you are referring to.

Kostas
