Support Case Month: October 2013
I am trying to make a submenu appear beneath it's parent menu. How can I achieve this? So that the z-index of the sub menu is say 999 and the main menu is 1000
it has to do with hiding a part of a top border of the sub menu, but only the part below the parent button a top it.
Thanks,
Nick

Hello Nick,
In general this has to do with the "Appear Where" property.
In order to achieve that you need to go to Sub Groups Style -> Appears – Where -> and set the distance of the selected edge. Here I have set it to be -10 pixels so that It appears like in the screenshot below:

Note though that the z-index value is a global property, which means you cannot have different z-index value in main menu items than in submenu items.
Thank you!
Kind Regards,
Aggelos Tsakonas

I have build 2 websites with multiframes (menu-, left-, right- and main-frame).
{URL REMOVED} (ok) and {URL REMOVED} (make problems)
In both i used AllWebMenus PRO 5.3. The "Main Menu Group" is in the "menu-frame" and the "Submenu Groups" in the "main-frame"
In Windows XP, 7 ... the Menus on both Sites looks correct in all Browsers (IE8, IE9, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari ...)
But when i open {URL REMOVED} on an Android- Smartphone or a Tablet i.Ex. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 the "Submenu Groups" are behind the "Main Menu Group". When you the click on "Zuchthündinnen" (That "Submenu Group" contains 8 items) then 2 and a half "items" peep out under the "Main Menu Group.
When i open on the same Andoid-Tablet the Site {URL REMOVED} all looks correct.
Please i need Help
With greetings,
Felix
