I am looking to make a wordpress site that resembles  http://diablo3blog.blogspot.com/ I want my blog and pages to have the ability to have multiple top menus like the above link as well as a side bar link menu using http://wpmegamenu.com/help/  or your floating menu .
Is this something your program would be able to do without using any drop down menus of any sort?  Is your plugin compatible with most wordpress themes or do I need a theme made by you?

Hello,

You can easily achieve the specific “multiple menu” effect in two ways:

1) You can actually have multiple menus linked into WordPress, or even better

2) You can create a single menu with multiple rows:

multi row horizontal menu

Regarding the left menu, this is a pretty simple vertical menu, so no problems here either. The only thing that we do not support is this specific mouse-over effect in the menu items.

Overall, AllWebMenus will allow you to create and add as many menus as you want in your WordPress site. Each menu can have any menu type you want (horizontal, vertical, sliding), with multiple rows/columns (or not), with or without submenus (sliding or floating), etc.

Of course our menus will work with all WordPress themes, and in all the latest browsers and mobile devices.

Hello,

I am using AllWebMenus. The inlayed submenu item groups are not working properly. After navigating throughout the website the fly out area  become distorted.

Here is the url: {URL REMOVED}

Looking forward to the solution.

Dear Vida,

Are you referring to this?

Full HTML Mega Menu

If so, note that this is not related to scrolling. It is actually related to the image on the right side. This happens the first time you visit the page (or after deleting the cached files) as the first time you open the submenu the image is not loaded and has no height. Then when the image loads it pushes everything down and distorts the submenu. This happens because you are using the Full HTML mode and the image is not preloaded.

The solution is to simply add a fixed size to your image, for example:

<img height=”210” width=”160” src=”myImage.png” />

Hello Kostas,

Thank you so much for such prompt and effective response and solution. Adding the size of the image helped.

Hi,

When a visitor to our site has a lower resolution or is "zoomed in", the mega menu shows scroll bars.  Is there a way to have no scroll bars regardless of resolution?

Many thanks,
Peter

Dear Peter,

The scrollbars only appear if your submenu is so big that it will not fit the page.

If you do not have scrollbars then you will miss some part of the submenu! Is this what you really want?

If so, then I believe you can achieve this by adding “overflow: hidden;” to the “style” of the parent <div> of each submenu.

I'm using AllWebMenus on a new version of my site (I really love your program!). All is was well until I was in an Apple store and noticed that the menu doesn't appear at all when the site is viewed on any Safari browser: not on the Mac, iPad or even Safari running on Windows.

I've tried eliminating all z-index settings, removing graphics and changing the position of the menu but nothing worked. The menu does display really well in IE, FireFox and Chrome - all on Windows, and on Chrome on the Android OS.

The test website is at www.tufac.com.
Any ideas on what I should try next?

Thanks!

Dexter

Hello Dexter,

version of AllWebMenus

It appears that the menu on your website was compiled with an *old* version of AllWebMenus (see “release history” here: http://www.likno.com/whatsnew.html ).

You need to update/upgrade your AllWebMenus and re-compile/re-upload your menu files, as the *old* compiled menu cannot support the latest browsers and standards. Some browser versions did not even exist by that time (e.g. IE9 was officially released in March 2011).

How?

- Login to your Likno User Area at http://www.likno.com/userarea

- Click the "View/Manage Licenses and Plans":

view manage menu licenses

- See there if your Update Plan has expired or not.

If "expired" then click the "Renew" link and renew your Update Plan.

- Download the current Version (Build) ( http://www.likno.com/download.html ) and install it.

- In your Likno User Area, click the "Get Activation Code" link and get a new Activation Code for this updated installation:

get activation code

- Open your old project file (.awm) in AllWebMenus, re-compile it and then upload the new menu files (along with the "awmdata" folder) to your website.

Note that you may need to delete your browser’s Temporary Internet Files (or cache files) before refreshing the page in order to see the menu.
