I am interested in building a mega menu for my web site. I have no coding experience & would like a software package to upload or drop in code to my xsitepro web site builder. Can a mega menu (for example with drop down fly outs to mega content on a submenu, etc.) be build with your system without coding experience? Thanks.
Steve

Dear Steve,
The mega-menus require that you style the content yourself with HTML. This means that you do not need any real coding experience (as the scripts take care of the menu workings), but you will need some HTML knowledge in order to design your menu content. You can download our mega-menu examples to see what this HTML code should look like.
Of course, if you have no HTML experience, there is always the option of hiring us to create the menu you want. If you want a quote on this, please describe the menu you want in as much detail as possible. If possible also send us the menu structure and if you want it to be like a menu you’ve seen somewhere, also send the URL.
Regards,
Kostas

If you notice that all the menus have the same width...about 4 columns worth. I want to be able to specify the width for each category so that you don't see a huge menu width for a category that only has a little amount of links.
Right now it has a global setting at
.submenu-box {
background-color: #2c5987;
padding: 10px;
margin: 0;
width: 750px; }

In your case, because you are using a “mega-menu” which is based on “Full-HTML” items, you need to enter the submenu width directly into the HTML code, like this:

Note the red part in the following code:
<div class="submenu-box" style="width: 560px;">

Does your program create multi-column menus? ... a more advanced 'mega-menu' that includes images, etc. Thanks.

The site http://sukiskincare.com/ was built with many AllWebMenus (as required by the designers). Is there a simple way to generate an XML and Google sitemap for all pages of the site?

Hello Stan,
We do have a similar feature in AllWebMenus ("Create Sitemap"), however this cannot be applied in your case because:
1. One of your menus (the main menu) is a "mega menu" which means that many items are actually entire HTML (with many links etc.) and this HTML cannot be included in a sitemap entry (which requires just links).
2. Each project will create its own sitemap. There is no functionality for creating a "global" sitemap derived from multiple menu projects.
So, I am afraid that this cannot be done with AllWebMenus (which has this feature for "simple" and single menus) but you can definitely do this easily by using the Google Webmaster tools:
http://www.google.com/webmasters/
This is more appropriate as it will index all your pages, even the ones that are not included in the menu.

We are working with you Mega Dropdown Menu. We are looking to change the functionality slightly...
Right now when you mouse over Envelopes you get the Submenu the slides out or drops down toward the bottom. That menu has different columns with different links. What we are look to do is this...when we mouse over one of the links, we would like to have the same action that we get when we roll over "Print Services" which is the last Option on the Menu itself. When you mouse over Print Services you get the dropdown or slide out menu that is displaying images. We would like to display just one image, using the same basic code that is being used by "Print Services."
I'm sure it is probably a simple piece of JavaScript but I just cant figure it out. Could you please let me know how to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Dear Bob,
There is no straight-forward solution on how to achieve this. This is because “mega-menus” cannot have submenus that go deeper than one level. If you want to show an image when you mouse-over each submenu link, then this will have to be done with custom JavaScript code. If the images are not links themselves, then maybe it would be worth it to use Likno tooltips to show the image for each link.
