Greetings. 
How am I capable of making all of the buttons in my menu to be the same, equal width?  I cannot seem to find a way to do this.

Hello Todd,

The property for what you want to achieve is Uniform Items.

Click on Menu Type and then check Uniform Items.

Then all the items will have the same width according the biggest width item in your menu.

Sir/Madam:

I downloaded AllWebMenusPro and having been previewing it. I am not currently a customer. I do have a couple of technical questions that would facilitate my preview:

1)    How do I get rid of the + on the menu item when there is a submenu?

2)    Is it possible for the menu items to have a different width than the submenu groups? For example, I might have a short menu name (i.e., Reports) and a submenu item might have a long name (i.e., Custom Member Reports). It seems that the menu item's with is set to the width of the largest submenu item. This makes the layout of the menu look weird (if the menu items are left justified.

2) Please click the "Menu Type" button. I believe that you want to remove the "Uniform Items" checkbox.

I'm trying to use an AllWebMenu Pro generated menu with Joomla 2.5 for the first time and I'm having problems getting the menu width to fit.

In AWM, you can specify a minimum width for an item and a minimum width for the whole group... I get that.

But as you can see from my site, the menu is way too wide and the main cause appears to be that all of the items are set to be the same size and that size seems to be determined by the 'widest one.

Currently I think each item is around 180 pixels wide.

Now I don't want/need all of the items to be a uniform width, I just want the entire menu to fit in 990 pixels, so I could do with knowing how I can get each item to just be governed by the text padding etc. instead.

I've not used a theme for my current menu as, well, to be honest there's no real styling involved 🙂

Dear Dave,

If all your items have the same size, then you probably have the “Uniform Items” selected in the Menu Type. Please uncheck this to fix the problem:

When I started learning how to use the menus in WordPress I had the menu type as Dynamic and the links showed up in the page source. Now I have the menu type as Static and the links do not show up in the page source.
Is there any way to use the Static menu setting and display the links in the page source?

Dear Sheldon,

“Static” means that you have defined the structure in AllWebMenus. Did you do this? When you changed the menu from “Dynamic” to “Static”, did you re-import the menu? if not, then you should do this now.

No. If you use “Static” then the links are only visible within the “menu.js” file.

You can make the links show in the source if you turn the project to ULLI or CSS.
