Support Case Month: June 2013
Just updated AllWebMenus 5 from build 900 to 910. When starting the program a message box appears with Warning: Older version of Server-Side Menus API detected.
It instructs me to download and install the latest version from the link provided. When I click the link and look for download information it tells me the following:
Download link: Not needed, this version of the Add-in is pre-installed in AllWebMenus Build #888 or above.
How do I correct this?

Hello Paul,
Please, uninstall AllWebMenus Pro and then reinstall it. This should solve the problem.

I had to format the hard disk and lost the allwebmenu program that I had installed, since I use it very sparingly in fact I don’t even use the glide function any more I wonder if I have to purchase it again (I am not interested at the later release) and in such case how much do I have to pay?
Thanks, regards
Dora

Hello Dora,
While you could still use the old version we urge you NOT to do this because that old version supports browser versions up to August 2010. This means that you will have issues with latest browser releases.
You need to update/upgrade your AllWebMenus and re-compile/re-upload your menu files, as the *old* compiled menu cannot support the latest browsers and standards. Some browser versions did not even exist by that time (e.g. IE9 was officially released in March 2011).
NOTE: You may also CHANGE your EMAIL ADDRESS there to your new one.
- Click the "View/Manage Licenses and Plans":

- See there if your Update Plan has expired or not.
If "expired" then click the "Renew" link and renew your Update Plan.
- Download the current Version (Build) ( http://www.likno.com/download.html ) and install it.
- In your Likno User Area, click the "Get Activation Code" link and get a new Activation Code for this updated installation:

- Open your old project file (.awm) in AllWebMenus, re-compile it and then upload the new menu files (along with the "awmdata" folder) to your website.
Note that you may need to delete your browser’s Temporary Internet Files (or cache files) before refreshing the page in order to see the menu.
Thanks!

Thank you,

Initial Email Subject: My version of All Web Menu is not activating
Support Case Month: March 2012
Hi,
I have used this product for the last 2 years on a couple of websites I have. My computer crashed and I had to reinstall all my software. I installed the version that I was eligible to install, entered the Installation ID {INSTALLATION ID REMOVED} then received the activation code. After entering the code, it said that i was fine, but then when I go to use it, it said it was not activated. I have closed the program and tried a couple times, and even restarted my computer and it is still not working. HELP. What should I do.
Please let me know what I should do to get this resolved.
Thanks!!!!

Hello,
Did you install a newer version before reverting to your old one? Please try fully deleting AllWebMenus and then installing the older version again. Let me know if this fixed the problem (you should require a new Activation Code, and your Installation ID should change to something starting with “UE”).
Regards,
Kostas
