Hello I wrote in a short time ago about a menu that is not appearing on the published site.

I have found the problem. The program was writing the source for the menu as the source on the C:// hard drive not to the ./menus1.js on-site source address.

I cannot see how to fix it in the program so I have manually changed the language on each site page. This should work.

Please send me the fix for the AWM program side.

thanks,

Jeremy

Dear Jeremy,

Are you referring to the Linking Code in your pages? Do you have the pages locally?

If so, then the problem is most likely that when you moved the files you did not update the Site Root folder in AllWebMenus and it is pointing to a different drive than where the files actually reside.

NOTE: If you are asked to “fix the links” when you change the site root folder, DO NOT do this. Automatic “fixing” will try to keep all your links pointing to the old location.

Support Case Month: November 2012

Hi,

My computer was « reinstalled » with Windows 7 Professionnal 2 weeks ago and since then, I have problems with Likno.  When I compile a source file, Likno says the file exists and ask me if I want to replace it.  Perfect.  I say yes and that’s it.  But when I go on the directory with the windows file explorer, I can’t see that file????  Just to make sure the file is there, I clock on the windows button (Start Button down left of the bottom menu bar) and I enter the name of the file in the search field and I can find the file.

Any idea of what append?

Thanks

Hello,

Please double-check your “Root folder” settings. We have seen several cases in the past where after a “re-installation” or “upgrade” the customer now had a different username in the PC. The result is that the menu project was still writing under the Documents of the old user and the customer was looking under his new Documents folder.

If this is also the case with you, the solution is to update the Root Folder path.

Hallo,

since I already have domains, how can I add a Web Accordion to my CMS Website?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hello Yves,

Our tool is independent of a CMS as long as you can edit its templates and be able to put javascripts online. What is your CMS by the way?

Also, what do you mean by saying "I got one from Switzerland"? You mean a domain for a website? OR a license of our tools? I am not sure what you mean here.

Hallo,

many thanks for your answer. I work with ZP Zeta Producer.

All my domains for example {URL REMOVED} a.s.o. are registered here in Switzerland. Therefore I bought them some time ago also by a swiss Webhoster/Provider.

Is this correct?

· Tools

· Compile for…

· Generic

· Continue for Compile

This page confuses me a little bit. I do have my IP Nr., though I don’t know how I put it into the mask? Or is this the wrong side, in order to upload the accordion to my website?

Many thanks for your great help.

Best regards

Yves

Hello Yves,

Since you have multiple domains, just purchase the unlimited domains license and you will not have to worry about "domains", etc.

unlimited domains accordion license

Concerning your Builder, I assume that it allows you to add your own code inside the pages. If yes, then you need to add the linking code inside the page and/or positioning code for the accordion. Also, you need to add the "likno-scripts" folder where the compiled project will be and upload it (publish it) online.

Let me know if this is not clear. Thank you.

Hello again,

that means, the purchase of unlimited Domains License has nothing to do with a registration of a new Domain (for example yves@yves.ch) through you?

As I understand, for other CMS as Joomla, I chose under Tools „Generic“. And then? To be honest, I have no idea, what I have to add to below field (as I send it to you earlier – see below this mail).

Do I get the "likno-scripts" folder, once I have bought the licence?

Pls I need some more help. Furthermore English is not my language. Do you have a video under youtube.com, where it explains, how to add the accordion to a CMS?

Will it be finally a quellcode or what is it called?

Many thanks in advance for your great help.

Kind regards

Yves

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello Yves,

First, please make sure that you edit this folder to be like the following: (I see that you had changed that to "root")

compiled subfolders

It should point to the "likno-scripts" folder.

When you compile your project all your compiled files will get inside this folder that is relative to the ROOT folder that you specified here:

site root accordion folder

Just make sure that you upload everything contained in this folder online (and its subfolder), relative to the root folder of your online CMS. Then add the linking code to your page, that should point to the accordion project.

Hello,

unfortunately, I still was not able to put it online.

What do I do with the Sample Code, which appears under F4?

I’ll be very happy, once it will work : )

Hello,

what I have done so far (my layout incl. Text and pictures):

web accordion properties

An upload via FileZilla:

Likno-scripts which includes:

Likno_accordion_lib.jscontaining.js which includes:

Jquery.js

Likno_accordion_libs.js

Likno_accordion_projects.js

Added this code to my CMS Website

likno accordion script

What did I forget?

Hello,

I see from your screenshot that you have the TRIAL version and you can only compile for “localhost”.

This means that your accordions will only show locally and not when you upload them into your site.

If you want you can send me the URL of your online page and I can confirm this.

What do I have to do the next time?

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello again,

I am afraid that you can only see it online *after* you purchase and activate the application.

With the TRIAL version you cannot see it online.

Why do I get this msg?
I don’t understand!

Likno Web Accordion Builder
Allocation Error

An error was detected while trying to allocate.
spital-webdesign.ch domain is already allocated through another license of yours.
There is no reason to allocate the same domain to another license.

Reply From: Likno Customer Support

Hello,

We had put the domain ourselves so that you do not lose time, this is why you got this message.

All is OK with your domain, so now this is what you should do:

1. Get a NEW Activation Code from your User Area and enter it again inside the application, so that the DOMAIN is updates inside the application

2. RE-compile and RE-upload all compiled files online

3. Do not forger to enter the positioning ID inside an element of your CMS (see the sample code):

web accordion position id

If you are not sure how to do this, you may also choose to replace an image that you add somewhere inside your page, by choosing this option instead:

web accordion positioning

Don't forget to choose the proper domain when you re-compile your projects. It should appear in the "domains" list of project properties.

Hello, we have released a new version of Likno Web jQuery Modal Windows Builder: Build #252

Check out What's New

- Added the API functions to the application's "Help" file (documentation).

- Improved the support for the "navigationBarSheetSpacer" CSS class of the Navigation Bar.

- Increased the minimum modal window margin to 15px when the modal window is larger than the screen size.

- The modal window no longer hides the parent window scrollbar by default. Instead there is a new Project Property to choose your desired behavior: the "Hide scrollbar" property in the "Project Properties -> Under the Hood" section.

- Fixed an issue that occurred when a "#" existed in one of the folder names in the Root Folder path.

- Fixed an issue related to hiding the scrollbar in frame-only pages.

- Fixed a "jump" when hiding the scrollbar and the modal window had a closing effect.

- Minor interface improvements (e.g.: when pressing "Enter" on the Preview's Navigation Bar "Offset" fields then the detached Preview is automatically refreshed).

All features here: http://www.likno.com/jquery-modal-windows/index.php
