I have been an AllWebMenus Menu user for many years for my clients websites.
I would like to have the benefit for SEO and customer usability, of a breadcrumb trail on each page where there are further levels of navigation.
Is this something Likno have - or if not is it something you would consider providing as an add-on?

Hello Phil,

Unfortunately, we do not have something like this.

But we are not sure how you imagine this.

Would you like the menu script to just calculate the items that should be shown in the breadcrumb based on the URL?

Something similar to what is used to identify the "selected" item in the menu?

The script could then just show the links in a breadcrumb section of yours? (the design of this section should be done with CSS outside AllWebMenus).

Note that javascript will be needed in this case, so you will not have any SEO benefits from this breadcrumb generation (because the links will be shown by the javascript).

Is there a way to make the background and tab green for the first tab. When the second is selected, make the background and tab orange. When the 3^rd tab is selected make the background and tab blue? I attached the project.

Dear Bill,

This is possible only if you avoid styling in the Style Editor, and instead add inline styling in the content of each body and tab.

Please have a look at Example 22 within the application to see how this is done.

Note, that the tabs will always keep their color and not only when they are selected.

Dear Bill,

If you keep the content in the application, yes.

However you can achieve exactly the same effect and keep the content in your page. While viewing Example 22, change the population method to DIVs and check the Sample Code.

Hi again,

If I’m creating this tab in the web tabs builder and then linking to it in my web page, what is the effect on SEO?  Is the content that I put into the tabs container available to the crawlers?  Ultimately I want the content to help my SEO ranking for that page so if it’s not available to the search engines I can’t use it.

If it is not available is there a way to use this tool so that the information IS available to search engines?

Hello again,

If you define the content within the application, then it may not be visible to most crawlers as they are not capable of parsing JavaScript files.

You do however have the option of keeping the content in your page using either the “UL/LI” or the “DIVs” population method.

With these methods you define the Tab control “look & feel” within the application, but you define the actual content in your page and it is visible to all crawlers and search engines.

For instructions on how to do this:

1) open your project

2) change the population method to “UL/LI” or “DIVs”

3) go to the “Sample Code” tab (F4)

4) check the “code that populates tabs” in the bottom to highlight the population code you need to add to your page

(you can simply copy-paste this to your page)

First,

I want to thank you for making such great products. I own three of your products and use them in many of my sites for years. I am an active customer and fan. Great work!

I just bought your Tabs Builder, which I am happy with except I have one big concern and that is the page length. If you go to the URL provided, please click the REVIEWS tab. You'll see I have quite a lot of reviews to show. This makes the page long. On other tabs, I will have much less content. I do not want a massive scroll bar and tons of blank space under the text of the short pages. Is there a way to have the active tab only scroll as far as is needed? Then if a larger page tab is selected, the page will scroll as needed? 
This is important to me as lots of dead space looks unprofessional in my opinion. SEO is critical as well. All my tabs need the content to be seen by spiders.
