Hi
I have a draft tabs directory which works at: http://reviewgizmo.com/reviewgizmo-directory/ which I need to permanently show on the site homepage.

I've set up the tabs to be populated through DIV elements and the post to show as a sticky on first on the homepage.

Can you please advise

Many thanks

Kenny

Dear Kenny,

I am not sure I understand what the question is….

Is it that you want the full “ReviewGizmo Directory” article to be visible so that the tab control also shows?

I am not sure if this will work (as this is strictly a WordPress issue non related to our product really), but you can try to add the “more” tag at the end of the post.

This did the trick in a test page I tried locally.

Create any type of javascript menu (CSS menu, drop-down menu, sliding menu), button, html tree, modal window, tooltip, accordion, tab, scroller, jQuery slider) or design for your websites!

Hi Kostas

Thank you for your reply – unfortunately, this didn’t work.

I need a way of making this complete menu always appear on the front page (as it currently appears on http://reviewgizmo.com/reviewgizmo-directory/)

Really appreciate your help

Regards

Kenny

Dear Kenny,

Are you using a Tabs shortcode in your post? Did you add the “more” to the very end of your post? (after the shortcode)

I guess if this does not work you have to find out from WordPress support how you can have a page or post always fully visible in your front-page.

Hi Kostas

Thought I’d get back to you for anyone else who might encounter the same issue.

For some reason, very large tab menus (like the one I created for http://reviewgizmo.com) will not show on the standard posts home page in WordPress. To get round this problem you can put the tab menu into a static page and make it the home page (in the reading settings – see http://mcbuzz.wordpress.com/2009/02/25/wordpress-tutorial-how-to-make-a-static-page-your-home-page-hide-a-double-home-page-link/).

Kenny

PS: there’s no point referring people to WordPress support as they have now stopped offering user support at all.
